i agree

with all the hype and build up and the anticipation that surrounded this release, i was left disappointed. screw the sales, im talking about the albums quality

firstly, to not have any warren g produced tracks was a big let down. how can u have a real 213 album when u have all outside producers making the beats..................................which werent any good to begin with.

i was hoping for some smooth classic longbeach g-funk but what were us loyal fans left with? a couple of decent tracks and a whole bunch of lame ones.
warren wouldve provided the group with the perfect soundtrack to lace. i guess i shouldve seen it coming with the corny ass cover!
Always talkin bout the cash he got, the little pesos for shows
And God knows his materialistic raps and wack flows
are like Stay Free pads, fake V.I.P. rappers get garbage disposed
Unrecouped for his flamboyance and reflection
He's leasin rentin and frontin

Fuck TVT dogg ur rite...They refused to release an album by Ja Rule's group called Cash Murda Click that was supposed to come out in 1999. Ja could tear anyone's head off on the mic even to this day so it wasnt a talent issue. Turns out that the dumb jew CEO who runs TVT had bad blood with Lyor Cohen or sumthin and didnt feel like sharing royalties...Fuck TVT...It's Murdaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...........

You're a fucking clown homeboy.  TVT did try to release the CMC record.  Lyor (Liar) would not allow Ja Rule to participate.  Hence, one of the biggest lawsuits in the past 5 years if not ever.  CMC originally released a couple singles about 10 years ago but, after one of the members went to prison, nothing could be done.  99% of you kids dont know what the fuck you are talking about.  Just go back to being a fan and stop trying to front like you know this business.

I agree, there were only 5 or 6 good songs on the album. It could have been so much better.
Being a LAKER is a privilige. Unfortunately some "Lakers" have forgotten that.

TVT is a Major Indi. It's on the artist to pay for their own Promotion. That's why they keep so much money on their CDs (Close to 7 bucks if not more). 213 just didn't have the hustle.

Maybe my opinion and taste is just a whole lot different from y'alls...but the album definitely did not suck. I donno what it is...every since it came out, everybody I know in LA was feelin the album...all of my homeboys were playin it a whole lot and loved the album. I don't think I knew anybody in LA who didn't like it other than the LA niggs who are more on east coast dick than anything else. It was bomb for what it was, even though it coulda been A LOT better. Yea Warren didn't do any tracks, but that doesn't mean the production sucked. It was a 7/10, maybe 7.5/10 album...most beats were strong, Nate killed the hooks, and the vibe was great. Snoop came half assed on some songs, and Warren did too, but they came alright on some tracks too.

How many tracks did Snoop really "leak"? "Run up on us" was on a mixtape, and I had heard Mary Jane but it was a diff song called "that's whats happenin" and was just Snoop by himself. I hadn't heard ANY other songs on the mixtapes. And "So fly" doesn't count, because that was meant to be a mixtape song because it was over Monica's beat that had a video for it! Usually songs like that never make albums, they are strictly for mixtapes, but they ended up puttin it on the album because 213 murdered Monica's version of it.

all they need to do to sell the album is make a video for MLK.  That song is HEAT!!!!!!!

even if they dropped it now it would bring a west coast g thang vibe and everybody would be coppin the album off that single even though it's not new
