Hulk Hogan has never injured or hurt a wrestler either, Bret.  There's one.

Actually Hogan famously injured Antonio Inoki once. But anyway, I'm sure if you look deeply at anyone's career you'll find that someone got hurt or injured while wrestling against that person. It's just the way the businesss is.

As for Bret's rant. I remember when he wrote this a year ago and I remember all the other rants he had in his column starting in '93. I like Bret but the guy is a little nuts. Flair was just taking some jabs back at Bret but he did it in a civil way. Bret ranted on with threats and such. Bret called Flair a 3 out of 10 wrestler. Flair just said Bret is amazing but judging form wrestling both he feels HBK is better. Bret said he wanted to punch Flair in the nose, Flair just said it appeared to him that Bret used the Owen death as another way to hate McMahon. The fact is Bret did talk about Montreal '97 in newspaper interview the day after Owen's death. Bret said Flair has no psychology and isn't fit to lace Macho Man's boots, all Flair said was that Bret was stubborn when it came to the order he did his moves in. Stan Lane, who wrestled both, said Ric Flair is like Rocky while Bret is like Tommy Gunn. And Bret Hart once said about Flair "he's so good he's not even human". Like I said, Bret'sa little nuts. Did you know his basement is one big Bret Hart Museum? His walls are covered with wrestling magazine covers of him, his belts are mounted on the wall. Every promotional picture he's ever done is up too. I won't be surprised if he starts charging admission soon.

Do you know that most of of the legends of wrestling have their magazine pictures on their wall, along with the belts they've won. You make it seem like what Bret is doing makes him nuts. If that makes him nuts, then most of the legends of professional wrestling are nuts. Hulk Hogan even has his boots from his nWo days encased in glass.

Other than Hulk Hogan who is there? Warrior and Savage? Flair doesn't have his house painted wit his stuff. Bret has an entire room that built like a shrine. Plus Hogan never went on National TV and tried to convince me that the greatest citizen of his country was a politically incorrect sports announcer.

... except Hulk Hogan.  He prides himself on it, he never hurt anybody in the ring... including Antonio Inoki.  That whole thing was a work.  Supposedly, Inoki was supposed to win, accidentally got knocked out, and then Hogan had to pin him to end the match.  In reality, it appeared at the show that Inoki missed grabbing the rope, fell on his head, and was knocked out (his own fault)... years later, nearly everybody involved was admitting that it was all a work.

Now, since we're talking about Bret Hart, one of the greatest, I'll share why I hate fucking Bill Goldberg so much.  Here you have a match with Bret "The Hitman" Hart, one of the greatest technical wrestlers ever, a man who knows the ins and outs of every wrestling move and can carry anybody through any type of match, and you pair him up against Bill Goldberg.

What does Goldberg proceed to do?  Does he have Hart carry him? Does he take direction from Bret in the match and let Hart put him over?  No, he kicks Bret in the fucking head as hard as he can in the middle of the ring, effectively ending his career.  It's like fucking a girl with a sledgehammer or painting a portrait with a mop.  Fucking asshole I hope somebody assasinates him.

Oh, and I don't really have a problem with Bret having a shrine, and yeah Hulk has one too.  "The Hulk Room".  I do think Bret is a bitter person though, have for years.  He's had a bad go the last few years... Owen died, Bret got fucked in Montreal, WCW misused him and basically wasted 3 years of his prime, He's not very respected which may or may not be his fault, his career is over, he's had a stroke and severe health issues, Davey Boy died, Dynamite Kid died, his Father died, etc. he's had a lot of shit and I think he's became very bitter and disenchanted because of it, but from what I've read, it seems to me like he was always a bit of a whiner anyways.

STILL Great, though, I'm not taking that away from him, but I don't think he pulled as much as he thinks he did.

There is nothing wrong with being proud of your accomplishments and displaying them in your home. Hell, if I had a celebrated career like Hart or Hogan, I would probably do that same thing myself, and I think I'm sane, but you never knnow.

Dynamite Kid is still alive, he's not dead. Dymanite Kid is just confinded to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. He lives in England & the WWE has tried to get him on TV to accompany Chris Benoit to the ring or something like that. Dynamite Kid hates the British Bulldog & doesn't have kind words for Bret in his book.

I don't think that Bret is bitter anymore. After having the stroke, he realized that he can't ge upset about the stupid events of the past. He's told the WWE that if he were to come back he didn't want to be involved in a storyline that kept on bringing up Montreal screw job.

Would you ever call a guy like Rush Limbaugh the Greatest American and spend an hour on TV trying to convince people you're right? Also, I was never the type to post my good report cards on the fridge so dedicating a room to pictures of myself isn't for me.

1. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion whether I agree or not, which I definitely don't agree with Bret on that issue.

2. That's you. Some people enjoy putting their accomplishments on exhibit, others are more hunble. Neither is right or wrong in my book.

Yeah it's not right or wrong to be fan of anyone, but it's still weird to be obsessed. People say he has more pictures of himself than his kids. That's just weird. Almost as weird as Bret playing the Genie in an adult version of the Disney movie in a play version.

Okay, it's safe to say that's a little weird.

Watch his old matches. You'll see knee breakers, tiger suplexes, vertical suplexes, a large array of locks, leap frogs, etc.

Ric Flair was the better wrestler, the better draw, & the better all round performer.

Bret always talks about the Summerslam match against Davy Boy Smith at wembley in front of 86000 to prove that he can draw, but the crowd wasn't there for him, this was the first 'supershow' that wwe/wwf had promoted outside of the states/canada, the main event was a british wrestler & wwe events always sell out in Britain.

Bret wasn't even the best wrestler to come out of his dad 'dungeon' Dynamite Kid wins that award by some margin imo, Dynamithe Kid doesn't have a lot of affection for Bret, mainly due to bret's behaviour & attitude to various people that helped bret become the star that he was.  In Brets mind he made so many wrestlers & had some of the greatest matches ever since he started (which imo is bollocks), whereas Ric Flair did make many wrestlers carreers, & he had the ability to carry a broomstick to a good match.

Flair should have quit a long time ago, as his current (past 10-14 years) performances have hindered the legacy that he had.  The drawing power that flair had in wcw/nwa was outstanding (especially compared to the wwf at that time).

The original (well the 1st few) 4 horseman is also the best ever 4 man group of wrestlers ever & flair was a huge influence on how good they were.

Flair was better, however as a booker he sucked big time
