I just copped this joint and I've listened half way and it's tight. I still like his previous shit better, but I'm lovin' this too.

:-/...  I dunno.  I just got done listening to "1 On One" and so far I like his previous work much better.  I don't know what it is.  Maybe not enough El/James Debarge, talkbox or funky beats.  Maybe this will gro won me.

Im off early today.. to go pickup this album.

But I must be real.. His "new style" is nothing special.  I was expecting much more but Im satisfied.  I still want this album OG.

Sorry Nino.. your gonna have to slap me then.  This album IMO isnt as good as his last two.  It has its moments of greatness though.. for sure.  I know that you really dig the song "One On 1" and I agree totally with you on this track.  Peace dogg.

i havent had a chance to really get into every track but i have some complaints or criticizim i think its a pretty hot album

but... the chorus on 50 wayz blows what the hell is that? james debarge would have been perfect on that chorus didnt need nothing elaborate but something better than just la lala la laal al la la woulda been nice...

secondly birds and beez, put it on me, oh well are all 3 months to a year old.. hell oh well was released when b & o dropped

come tonite seems like it wasnt mixed right...

personally i think suga free woulda been hot on sex crymee kinda like do i love her 2 it sounded like

my highlights.. well on most tracks quiks production seemed a lot more polished the bass hit harder for me and was a lot clearer overall...

proem and murda one case i liked a lot

sex crymee had a sick beat that is my fav jam right now

50 ways is real hot except for the chorus

everyday sounds dope in the ride and overall

i like the new quiks groove but woulda liked more diversity it dint change up much

chopins groove was ehh to me.. not really worth waiting like 3 minutes of silence for it to come on

although lol who am i to criticize i cant make music like quik and this is a hot CD just thought t coulda been better easily

I'm starting to listen to it a 2nd time through.  "Proem" and "Come 2Nyte" are tight.  But Quik should have left off those old songs, especially "Oh Well."  Bad move.  Also, what happened to "Chopin's Groove?"  It's not on my album.  After the last track on the album ends, it just keeps going, but there is no audio.  Wierd.

Well I've listened to it a couple times now and I'm starting to feel it. I really enjoyed the previous shit though. Like others said, this album has its highlights and it's low points.

;D ;D ;D

Honestly this is a tight album but not as good as his last two. He sort of has left his funky style a little and the talkbox as well. My favorite Quik album is definitely Rhythmalism.
Iam not complaining though cause this cd is tight and I needed some new DJ Quik to bump,

I give this cd a 7.5/10, not classic but good

Yeah. A low point for me was 'Get Tha Money' feat. Suga Free, didn't think much of that track  :-/
