Kobe could get frustrated when Spree sprints down the court and pulls up for that little 10 foot jumper on a 1 on 4 fast break lol. In other words...pulls a Kobe  ;D

2001-we sweap the spurs and beat them by a 20 point victory margin (kobe scored 94 points combined the 1rst 2 games in SA wich explains the hate towards kobe...fucking faggot stop been so mad)

Not only that but kobe drop 42 points in game 3 in the 2004 2nd round on bruce bowen/the spurs the same day he pleaded not guilty to sexual assult  ...kobe was all tired and red aye from been in eagle.CO the whole day
 ;D :-* 8)

According to Charlie Walters in the St. Paul Pioneer-Press, the Lakers will be Sprewell's new home. 8) 8) 8)

it doesnt really matter if this is true, the lakers are missing many many pieces and unfortenely for them latrell wouldnt fill any of those voids.  another losing season for the lakers coming up  ;D

Losing season? LMFAOOOO...If Kobe, Spree, Odom, Kwame, Mihm, & Phil put together a losing season, I will delete my account.

Same here. Last season Lakers werent that bad at all. They just performed bad, which is a different thing. We did it cause Rudy T. failed to coach the team (our offensive book was confused, while the defensive one was missing). We switched from triangle to "let's emulate the Showtime" offence, who was more like a "give the ball to Kobe and let's move" offence. Odom was been used as a PF, without using his full potential. Kobe was been used as the initiator of the offence, while he's a great finisher, not a creator (he cant play 48 mins in 1 vs 4, c'mon!), and there wasnt a system to cut some pressure off him (a good 2nd offensive option or the triangle). But anyway they was like 6th in the West with Rudy T! Not that bad. After Rudy retired, well.. everything collapsed, and Lakers suddenly started to play like a lottery team. But the team aint that bad, c'mon. Kobe, Odom, Brown: it's a nice trio. And Phil is Phil: the best. The next season will be a success if both Odom and Brown will perform better than they did during the last season.
^^^^
exactly what ive been saying some people here dont know too much about basketball the important acquisition of kwame brown was to move odom to the 3 spot .....u really think people like rashard lewis will be able to guard lo??? people like shawn marion or michael finley??? before it was tim duncan kg, or amare. we have phil jackson with him alone will get more wins than rudy t. triangle will be learned BEFORE the season not during! a lot of things to look forward this season..it shoudl be interesting....and i like that...as for latrell sprewell i think he wants to go to the heat because i think they can offer the same money and have a chance to win a championship but last i heard the heat wanted payton because GM shaquille oneal asked for him....my opinion is they can have him because theyll be full of cancers in walker, oneal and payton

The Heat have too many players signed to long-term contracts, he most likely wont get a contract extension from the Heat...His number 1 choice is said to be the Lakers, and he can actually be an important part of the Laker franchise if he helps the Lakers become something again...I have a feeling we'll see Spree in a Laker jersey soon. Hopefully, I'm right...PeACe

still doesnt matter...he's too old...lost a step...doesnt defend as well as he once did...lakers will still be battling it out for the 7 and 8 spots and out in the first round

That's because Laker-haters don't have a good argument..."Get off Kobe's nuts, you dickrider!"...That's their main one.

A few inside sources are saying that it's definitely going down. I hope it goes down and I think it will...

How are Lakers fans happy about the signing? Didn't yall see the way he dogged the T-Wolves cause he couldn't feed is family with that petty muli-million dollar contract offered?

I don't care about shit but his production on the court with the Lakers (if he signs)...

But my point is, he was disappointed he couldn't milk the Wolves out of more money so he played like shit. Now if he wants to play for the Lakers, he'll have to sign a contract for much less than he wants too. 1+1=2 don't you think?

Are you stupid? Why would he perform bad. The only reason he'd sign for 2.5 mil a year would be to get a big contract extension, which the Lakers will be able to afford in 2 years, so please tell me why he'd purposely perform bad if he's looking for a contract extension... ::)

He's 35 years old. In 2 years he's going to be at the age of retirement. Don't patronize me.

He just turned 35, but he's still performing at a high level...Like Antonio said, he's one of the hardest workers in the NBA. I give him another 5 years before retirement. Those 5 years could be huge...

In 2 years we could have money enought to sign the best PG in the league to replace him. Till then, Spree is a good option.
