what the hell is wrong with my xbox

i'd post screenshots if i could....basically when i turn it on everything is way blurry....or....well it kinda looks like the screen has doubles or triples of itself all within about a millimeter apart...i don't know how to fix it...it worked fine before

i've never experienced that before... i'd try messing with the yellow output cord in the back a little to see if that fixes it.  if not, try a little troubleshooting.  unhook your xbox and hook up something else to your tv to see if you get the same sort of problem with that.  if so then it's your tv.  if not, it's either your xbox or the cord.  next try borrowing your friend's cord from his xbox and try that.  if that solves the problem then it's obviously the cord.  if not then it's the xbox.  if it's the xbox, you'll probably have to send it in to get repaired.

I tried using a different yellow cable...no effect at all...my dvd player and vcr work fine on my tv. my xbox isn't hooked up to the internet so no virus's could've gotten in. I dont think i can send it in to get it repaired cuz its modded and so theres no warranty

i'd probably just wait until the xbox 360 comes out and get that.  modding can be a cool thing but it can also be hazardous at the same time.

its been modded for like a  year though....it worked fine before....now all the sudden it does this....i probably will just wait til the 360 comes out but it'd be nice to get my xbox workin so i'm not stuck playing gamecube

my roommate gave me this xbox...i think he had his buddy mod it...so that doesnt really work out

u could prolly take it to one of those places, since u cant really get it repaired by microsoft or nethin
might cost a lil $$ but it shouldnt b too much i dont think,or u could jus play ur cube ,i dunno how much u game

i dont play my xbox that much...but its been awhile so im startin to want to play some gta & nfsu again...i'll prolly just see if i can fix it myself....i dont have the cash to get it repaired and its not like i can make it work any worse so i might as well give it a shot
