It's not bad, matter of fact, all 40 wadda CDs are entertaining. But it's far from his best.

The CD has a different vibe than his other shit but there are some serious heaters on there. Even the one with Lil Jon is hot and I hate that ass.

Well put. It's E-40, so you know it's not going to be bad, but it's definitely not his best.

i have all of E-40's albums, his early shit is knockin but "In A Major Way", "Hall OF GAme", "Element Of Surprise", "Charlie Hustle", "Loyalty and Betrayal"...i enjoy them a lot, many of his later album have a lot of un-needed guest appearances but the beats hooks were cool, but "Breakin News" was kind of different i mean "Grit and Grind" has some of 40's best work and molded great with uneeded guests but "Breakin News" was weak, some bangers, some grow on you but the production is boring, and is almost Cash Money sounding, E-A-Ski produced the best tracks, also the first single is insane "Gasoline" is bannanas! but theres just weak beats for a Forty Water album...maybe its just me

I never came across an E-40 record I didnt like. It aint his best (but then again what is up to par with E40's best?) but its still a damn good record.

Maybe it's just me, but I dont really think 40 is that good. He says some funny shit, but he has some really sucky tracks in between aswell. Anyway, imma buy a couple of records to check it out

Well I sorta feel ya. I think he's a solid rapper, but I never really got into him that much. Some of his tracks are among my favourites, but besides those, he's not really my rapper of choice, if you get my meaning. I only got one album though, The Element of Surprise. I've been meaning to get some of his shit for a while now, but other shit always came first.

^^^u should get "in a major way" maybe it will change your mind a little....but as far as "breakin news" too me i thought it was his worst album...but that dont meen its a horrible album...its got some bangers like "gasoline" "hot" "quarterbackin'" ... the dj quik remix of "quarterbackin"etc.
