I would have to say Regulate. Safe and Sound has a couple of tracks that I skip but if I put Regulate in, I can play the whole thing without hitting skip.

mines the other way round , i dont skip anythin on safe and sound, where i usually skip super soul sis on regulate
Safe and Sound is tight all the way trough

Both are dope but I'm gonna go with Regulate..."And Ya Don't Stop", "This DJ", & "Regulate" are more classic to me...

Easily Quik.

Most hip-hop is now keyboard driven, because the majority of hip-hop workstations have loops and patches that enable somebody with marginal skills to put tracks together,...

Unfortunately, most hip-hop artists gravitated towards the path of least resistance by relying on these pre-set patches. As a result, electric guitar and real musicians became devalued, and a lot of hip-hop now sounds the same.

Regulate (the song) > any other song on Safe + Sound
True but,

Dollars + Sense>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate
Safe & Sound>>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate
Summer Breeze>>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate
Something 4 tha mood>>>>>any other songs on G-Funk Era besides Regulate

The fact is that Safe & Sound is alot more consistent and has more classic songs then G-Funk Era...

I made up my mind

Regulate > Safe and Sound

Super Soul Sis is amazing

that is all
"One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. "Which road do I take?" she asked. "Where do you want to go?" was his response. "I don't know," Alice answered. "Then," said the cat, "it doesn't matter."

Regulate (the song) > any other song on Safe + Sound

i concur with that... but that doesnt mean the album is better...

if you have an og copy of safe and sound, then its hard for me to believe you dont go crazy over it...

i played safe and sound after work one day, and this dude was playing pool, he is a producer, he's an old cunt, in his 50's but hes one of the best engineers in my city... he even has his own studio... well anyway, even he appreciates quik to the fullest, he hates hip-hop, but when he heard safe n sound he wanted a copy immediately, he said the production is like hes never heard before, said it was in genius...

pS. if i was to honestly and unbiasely compare safe n sound to any album in hip-hop, it would be compared to 'the chronic'... not a warren g album.

For as much I like warren g, musically speaking I definitely agreed. I always saw 'safe and sound' to be on the same level as 'the chronic' production wise.
