Why's Ian Wright not in the studio?

Much better first half from England, Rooney looks extremely sharp. Lampard should keep trying to find the passes for SWP.

rooney, owen, lampard, wright-phillips, joe cole, ledley king
rio ferdinand, john terry..


beckham is out after getting sent off last game remember

Jenas, Crouch and Alan Smith have been the three substitutes for England.

Poland have looked dangerous on a few occasions, England does deserve the victory though.

The Polish goalkeeper seems quite talented, I've never seen him play before, he's made a few fine stops. They said he is on-loan to Celtic.

Rooney was suspended at the weekend against Austria. It was only a one-match suspension.
