but they can't consider the Reign Man? Of course, I'm not considering the heavy speculation that Boozer is coming to the Lakers (there was an article in the times about how he bought an LA mansion recently.), but if Boozer isn't coming, I see no reason why the Lakers don't give Kemp a chance...

Boozer would be a far more solid option then Kemp. Besides, i thought your whole argument is that the Lakers are gearing up for the future....Kemp is not "the future", he's the past lol
So Kwame failed that hard that we need Kemp now?
Nik i will not waste my time arguing with you about Brown again.

That in 15 games, Brian Cook has provided better offense than Kwame in 8, but still hasn't been rebounding nor defending as well as the bust himself, Kwame? Cook is improving. Kwame is flopping and he's still providing more...Imagine what'll happen when Kwame REALLY starts playing.

If Boozer doesn't go through, Kemp would be my first option to give a 10 day contract. If the Lakers like what they see, great, sign him... if they don't, what do they lose? Other options for front-court help would be Elden Campbell, Corie Blount, or Dennis Rodman. I'd give any of those players a 10 day contract. All are willing to make a sacrafice to continue their stay in the NBA, and all have been succesful at what they do in the past (with the possible exception of Corie Blount, but he's an experienced defensive-minded big with past triangle knowledge)...I still believe the Lakers can do SOMETHING in the near future...PeACe
