Rapper Soopafly shot in Los Angeles!!

Reuters-
Los Angeles based rapper "Soopafly" was one of 3 people involved in a shooting in the Los Angeles subarb of Long Beach Sunday night.  The rapper, real name Joseph Brooks, was with several friends when they were approached by a black Nissan.  After a heated exchange involving a member of Brook's crowd and a passenger in the car, occupants of the car shot at the rapper's entourage, injuring all 3.  Brooks, who was shot in the shoulder, was rushed to Mt.Sinai hospital, where he is listed in stable condition.  The rapper released an album last year intitled Dat Woopty Woop, and while he isnt a major player in hip hop, he is an integral part of California's undergroun scene, according to Allen S Gordon, former editor of Rap Pages. "Soopafly was an up and coming artist who had just signed on with Snoop (Dogg).  He definitely has the potential to make a big splash."  The two other victims are both listed in serious condition but are expected to make afull recovery.
