FAQ = Frequently Asked Questions

Well u know like umm... people always seem to ask certain questions and amongst us. being a varied bunch some of us know a lot about specific areas.. if you want to ask about a particular rapper/group you can probably think of someone to ask.

imagine if all the simple/easy questions were sorted and indexed in a way that people could just say hey... u need this <link> and it would take them to the info.

certain people havent got the mentality to understand that not everyone knows everything - even if they think they do, and that this would be a resource to help people learn instead of having some ignorant ass say 'haha you know shit... '  etc etc...

get me?

Get you. I did actually realise what FAQ stood for... damn you for trying to embarrass me on that front. ;)

I think it's a good idea. Not sure quite how you'd order it - I can imagine it being a huge, sprawling thing... but worth a go certainly.

lol.. i did wonder about the FAQ thing.. i'm sure some people who read this wont though..

yeah maybe huge.. it depends on how its organised I suppose.. I think I have a mini version of this in mind on dubcnn in a roundabout kinda way... I've been trying to get that going behind the scene's.. not much luck so far.. the basic premise is that the 'specialists' on each area/subject would submit guest articles on frequently asked/discussed areas that they're familiar with. I believe everyone knows enough about something to write an article on it :)

Thats the problem... someone tried before ('goldme' if my memory serves me correctly, he vanished a while back).. he kinda took the idea and ran in the wrong direction tho. He tried to make it into another rap dictionary, but west coast biased.

I've toyed with the idea of asking people to submit guest articles for dubcnn based along this principle. Its probably the easiest workable way that I can think of. Maybe release them there in batches or something.

If anyone remembers I once had this story written where I told the history of the LA area rappers in the context of a mythology,maybe that could be placed with a question like "Has any westcoast fanfiction been written?" or something.....just an idea.
If anyone wishes to read the story again or hasn't done before,give me a holla and I'll see if I can send it to you. I'm actually thinking about updating and changing it a little by the way.
