wack as fuck?  The beat by Quik was a little dissapointing to me.  It was great to hear Rakim, but Truth Hurts ruins any chance of this song sounding decent.  I don't know why Dre wants to waste his time with this act when he could have worked on and put out a classic by Rakim, or (even though I think he's an average rapper at best) put out Hittman's album instead.  Truth Hurts doesn't appeal to me, and I'm sure many of u as well (although since some of you like everything Dr. Dre touches, you'll probably think it's the shit).  My prediction for Truth Hurts album is it is going to flop big time (like The Wash soundtrack) unless she gets on MTV, which I highly doubt.

I agree, Mack.  I'm not feeling good about this.  But let's be hopeful.  There was a pretty cool thread (check link below) about this track being posted on WC2k (Lil Jay'z Site)  There's some good feedback from other board members you might wanna check.  G-Look'n.  Pz

Yeah, I definately think it's wack.  Yall think Quik's being all revolutionary with that mid east beat, come on now.  I coulda done better with some pots and pans.  Have yall EVER listened to Eastern music?  It does'nt even have a 4/4 beat, so how can you 'sample' it correctly?  To me, this song doesn't sound inventive at all, it repeats over and over and over and over, Truth sounds incredibly monotonous, she doesn't even hardly sing on it.  If you'd listen to some Sitar music, you'll see what Eastern music CAN be, this is really, really not very mature musically.  I say Christina Aguilera blows her out of the friekin' water.  Just my opinion though , I could be wrong
