With that song, "Str8 West Coast"..."Knoc's Landin" has become one of the most anticpated albums of 2002 for me.

Does anyone know the name of the first single produced by Fredwreck?  It was posted over @ the main forum; if someone could find it it would be greatly appreciated.

Here's an article on Knoc, which covers his future plans.  Written by me, Incognito.   ;)  It's off of wckillaz.

Coming Out Of The Dark:  Knoc-Turn'al
Incognito
[/b]

"L.A. Indo/Homcide/Guns Outcha window/Livin My Life/Str8 West Coast"

Dr. Dre calls him "The hook master." He has blessed songs like, "Bang Bang" and "Some L.A. Niggaz" with his incredible writing ability which has led him to pen songs for Dr. Dre. You might not have noticed it, but Knoc has touched a big part of "Dr. Dre 2001." Songs like, "The Watcher" and "Light Speed" feature the low-lying rapper's talents on them. He's there, but you don't notice him, that's why he's called Knoc-Turn'al. His pen was the one behind the lyrics that Dre recited on "Put It On Me" and "The Wash." You've heard his unique voice on the single "Bad Intentions," (which he entirely wrote) and his own solo joint, "Str8 West Coast," now get ready for his own landin. Knoc-Turn'al has everything laid out for him. He's got a deal with Elektra Records to distribute his debut album, "Knoc's Landin," along with his label, L.A. Confidential Records.

Knoc-Turn'al, just 24 years old outta Long Beach, is headlining a new bread of West Coast MC's that will drop debut albums in 2002. Expect his to be one of the illest. After a life gang bangin, Knoc had to get away from a life in the jail cell...he turned to rap music. The label which he is a big part of was founded by business man, Big D, in 1999. Big D scooped up the young rapper to become apart of his label's outfit. Through knowing Dr. Dre, Big D made the connection of having the two meet. And as Knoc said, "After 10 minutes we were recording a song." Look for Knoc's L.A. Confidential crew, a batch of hungry MC's which consist of himself, TimBomb and Slip Capone to ride alongside with him for the album. Knoc also comes prepared with some of the West's finest: Dr. Dre, who will contributed 3 beats and serves up some rhymes aswell. Also providing some instrumental heat are, Fredwreck, Battlecat, Jazzy Pha, Bud'da and Timbaland. Hittman, Ms. Roq and Jayo Felony are some guest rappers on there too. Knoc is ready to make his solo landing in January, says Elektra, who will help release the project. Knoc-Turn'al describes the vibe on most of the songs as, "gangsta-techno," with a Cali feel to it. The first single, "Knoc," features Dr. Dre and Missy Elliot.

Knoc-Turn'al is one of the West's elite in my opinion because of his commanding raps and silky smooth hooks that even resemble one time Dr. Dre protege, Snoop Dogg. His debut will be a breath of fresh air for West Coast hip hop, so go out and support Knoc-Turn'al when his album, "Knoc's Landin" hits around March 2002. -Incognito

I Got This shit from his official website:

ELEKTRA TO DEBUT LA CONFIDENTIAL HIP HOP STAR KNOC-TURN'AL IN 2002
(New York, NY) The Elektra Entertainment Group has entered into a label deal with rising hip hop label LA Confidential Entertainment, kicking off the venture with Los Angeles lyricist/rapper/producer Knoc-Turn'al and his debut album Knoc's Landin', which is scheduled to hit stores in March, 2002.

A native of the fertile hip hop foundries of Long Beach, California, Knoc-Turn'al has worked closely with many notable hip hop stars, including Dr. Dre, who enlisted Knoc's songwriting and rapping skills for his multi-platinum disc Chronic 2001. Knoc-Turn'al co-wrote three songs that are currently soaring up Billboard's R&B and hip hop charts – Dre's "Bad Intentions" and "The Wash" – both from soundtrack of the upcoming Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg film, The Wash, and "Put It On Me," featuring Dre and DJ Quik, from the soundtrack to the Denzel Washington movie Training Day. Dre returns the favor on Knoc-turn'al's highly anticipated debut, appearing on the track "Knoc," and "Str8 West Coast," among other cuts, as well as sharing some of the producing chores on the album. Other contributors to Knoc's Landin' include revered producer Timbaland and hip hop diva Missy Elliott, among others.

The charismatic Knoc-Turn'al was discovered by David "Big D" Menefield, CEO of LA Confidential. "Knoc can do it all -I can't think of a better talent who fits the vision I have for LA Confidential," says Big D. "Elektra is a great home for us because it affirms one of my goals, which is to give our label a universal sound. Even though we're based in L.A. we want our music to appeal to people from every region. It doesn't matter from what side of town you are from, or what part of the country, our goal is to keep the door open to everybody."

Sylvia Rhone, Chairman and CEO for Elektra, has high hopes for the west coast hip hop star. "Knoc-Turn'al has already made his presence known in the hip hop community by his collaborations with Dre on The Wash soundtrack," stated Ms. Rhone. "His upcoming Elektra debut will no doubt put him down as one of hip hop's new forces to watch."

The first single from Knoc-Turn'al will be "Knoc," featuring Dr. Dre and Missy Elliott.

Knoc's and Crooked's albums are the albums I'm anticipating the most out of all the albums dropping next year. Hopefully they'll blow the fuck up and help resurrect the West Coast. Both have the talent and some sick flows.

Both of the songs Knoc has released "Str8 West Coast" and "Knoc" are fucking FIRE!
