Yeah, the first time i heard "Gangsta Rap Made Me Do It", i thought the whole album would be a lil' different.

I wouldn't entirely say the album isn't political. I'm 5 songs through and we all know "G-Rap Made Me Do It" is political. "Hood Mentality" has a bangin beat but i would say it still has a nice hidden message; same with "it takes a nation."

For real. There's probably around 9-11 tracks where Cube is really saying something.  That is a big step up from LNCL.
