Nate Dogg - Self Titled Question.
« on: March 20, 2011, 08:47:31 PM »
Did Nate Dogg's 3rd Selft Titled album ever get released? I was sure it didn't but in most of the articles I have read since his death they keep mentioning his 3rd self titled album? Here is the track-listing they have on Amazon for it:

1. I Need A Bi**h
2. Bad Girls Featuring Redman
3. Get Up Featuring Eve
4. Keep it Real Featuring Fabolous
5. Leave Her Alone Feat Memphis Bleek, Freeway & Young Chris
6. Hide It
7. Round and Round
8. Got Damn Shame Featuring Timbaland
9. There She Goes Featuring Warren G
10. Somebody Like Me Feat Shade Sheist
11. Interlude
12. I Got Game Featuring Snoop Dogg
13. All Night Long
14. Next Boyfriend Feat Knoc-turnal
15. The Hard Way Featuring Xzibit
16. Interlude
17. Right Back Where You Are

Did it ever leak?

Sorry if there has already been a topic about this too.

I believe it was released digitally but never in physical copies outside of a certain nefarious bootlegger who used to frequent these sides.

when i recently pulled this album bck out i noticed something, iv always felt that the album starts off weird with I Need a Bitch. so if u start the album with the 1st Interlude (the one where he says this is Nate Dogg) the album flows better and makes more sense.. this is how i think the album should look

11. Interlude
12. I Got Game Featuring Snoop Dogg
13. All Night Long
14. Next Boyfriend Feat Knoc-turnal
15. The Hard Way Featuring Xzibit
16. Interlude
17. Right Back Where You Are
1. I Need A Bi**h
2. Bad Girls Featuring Redman
3. Get Up Featuring Eve
4. Keep it Real Featuring Fabolous
5. Leave Her Alone Feat Memphis Bleek, Freeway & Young Chris
6. Hide It
7. Round and Round
8. Got Damn Shame Featuring Timbaland
9. There She Goes Featuring Warren G
10. Somebody Like Me Feat Shade Sheist

Those interludes were soooo cheap! Plus half of the songs were released on soundtracks. How this album has been put together is a real mystery.

I think it was the skeleton of what the album was meant to become. It just never got to the next level..

The album really wasn't good. Sucks how none of his dpgs were really on the album so they were replaced with random / subpar features
