But that exact philosophy is exactly why the ring argument is autistic as fuck lmfao.

You say that because you know the USA has a superior team every four years. Yet, if Westbrook leaves Durant & Durant spends the rest of his career alone, running into your fantasy, stacked Laker squads or LeBron & Love or the Warriors, etc, you're going to knock him for never having the talent around him to compete with the "USA team in Olympic play".

You don't judge Pau for not winning a gold medal because the USA teams are always better than the Euro teams. He almost has no chance to win because his teammates in Spain aren't as good.

But it's the same philosophy in the NBA. If Westbrook is all alone in OKC for 10 more years after Durant leaves & his career ends, how you going to judge him for 0 NBA Finals rings for being forced to play with Dion Waiters & Mitch McGary for 10 years? If Kobe never stomped his foot & whined to management to steal him Pau Gasol & didn't win you'd be on here crying he had no help.

It's pretty simple as long as you're not fucking retarded.

comparing nba level competition to euroleague competition is flat out retarded....jr smith would automatically be the best player for 99% of euro teams if he ever joined one. you try so hard.

again...lebron had a capable team. it wasnt euro level talent vs usa level talent. it was 2 NBA LEVEL teams goin at it. one had better inside presence and the other had better perimeter players. do u understand that draymond green and andre iguodala would be considered scrubs if they played with lebron? like jr smith and iman shumpert....u put those guys next to steph curry, and they shine. the narrative of lebron not having enough is a media fabrication. and because u lebron groupies are used to seein him play with superstar teams, then all of a sudden havin a regular team becomes "unfair". stephen curry is the only real franchise player in golden state...klay thompson is good, but he's a borderline all-star, not a franchise player. kyrie irving and kevin love are both franchise players (one who was relegated to looking like a role player next to lebron)....the thing is, if lebron had kyrie and love, then it doesnt balance shit out, it makes lebron have the UNFAIR advantage of having a superteam (once again).....and guess what, lebron lost game 1 when kyrie was playing (were the teams not even then)?  how did he lose it? thats right...on a classic chokejob, only the way lebron knows how. then they won games 2 and 3, despite lebron shooting poorly (they won mainly due to defense on steph)........u groupies need to stop comin up wit excuses for lebron every time he loses. u go to extreme lengths like comparing usa level talent to euro level talent. it's just fuckin dumb and makes u look desperate. to the casual fan, they may think u have a point. to some1 who follows espn as their gospel, they may even agree with u....but to people who actually understand the game, they laughin at how much u got this 2/6 finals record holdin, travellin on every possession, over-glorified for marketing purposes, hidin behind superteams, beta males dick down ya throat....stop that. root for the sixers bruh. hype up embiid all u want, i dont give a shit. but this individual male praise for a guy that doesnt even help ur team is flat out embarrassing.

I'm sorry dude, I know you spent a little typing that out...but I had to stop reading after "LeBron not having enough was media fabrication" lol. There's just no point if you're that out of line. That's absurd.

Speaking of narratives, I get your whole "pretty much everyone who isn't a 'franchise player' would be 'awwwww man Draymond Green?!?'", but no lol, Mario Chalmers, Norris Cole, Shane Battier, Birdman, the list goes on of Miami Heat players who wouldn't have been shit for the last 4 years, turned into champions by LeBron. & those Miami players were better. Dellevedova will never start on an NBA team again unless all other options are on the DL, JR Smith sucks, James Jones can only shoot a three, Mike Miller today is too old, Thompson has zero offensive game, Mozgov is the only player worthy of a Finals roster & that's if he is the 4th or 5th option on the team. Iman can play defense, can't really do anything on offense unless he's created looks from pretty much being ignored. Kyrie & Love, like designed in the offensive scheme, yeah, they win. But like I said in another thread you...like usual...ignored because of how insane you'd have to be to argue it...no other team in NBA history could you have removed the 2nd & 3rd best players & that team would of still won the NBA Finals.

If you honestly & truly believe if one week before the Finals the Warriors & Cavs broke all trading deadline rules & traded LeBron for Steph & you think the Cavs would of still won...actually if you think the Warriors WOULDN'T have swept Curry on the Cavs, you're so lost, it's inexplicable.

he had enough to win, son...thats why they won games 2 and 3. he had:

1.A GREAT TEAM DEFENSE (LOCK-DOWN PERIMETER DEFENDERS, RIM PROTECTORS)
2.KNOCK DOWN SHOOTERS TO SPACE THE FLOOR
3.EXCELLENT REBOUNDERS
4.LOW POST SCORING

IT'S NOT KWAME BROWN-SMUSH PARKER-LUKE WALTON LAKERS LIKE U KEEP ACTING.....U PUT MJ, KOBE, BIRD, MAGIC WIT THOSE GUYS, AND IT'S A SWEEP VS THE FUCKING WARRIORS....I MEAN, WARRIORS ARE GOOD, DONT GET ME WRONG. BUT THEYRE STILL THE FUCKIN WARRIORS. IT'S NOT SOME HALL-OF-FAME LINE-UP THAT CANT BE BEAT. THE FUCKIN GRIZZLIES WERE UP 2-1 ON THEM BEFORE CONLEY WENT DOWN. IF LEBRON IS WHAT THE MEDIA/GROUPIES BUILD HIM UP TO BE, HE WOULDA WON...BOTTOM LINE.

My dude, why aren't you saying that this team:

Fisher
Kobe
Ariza
Powell
Bynum

Would have beat the Celtics though?

Instead, what you're doing is saying that these teams:

Alston
Lee
Hedo
Lewis
Dwight

and

Gibson
Pavlovic
LeBron
Gooden
Big Z

Are equal to:

Curry
Thompson
Barnes/Iggy
Green
Bogut

And that's just flat out not true. If you're going to make these comparison, make them right. LeBron played a top notch team, so make your comparisons with other top notch teams. If Dwight didn't defend on that Magic team, who would have? Who would have stepped up and bailed them out? Nobody. If LeBron didn't do damn near everything on that Cavs team, who would have stepped up and bailed them out? Again, nobody. These are not elite teams. Now, take that Warriors team. When Curry wasn't scoring, Thompson was. Iggy was. When the team needed stops, Green stepped up. Iggy stepped up. Livingston stepped up. That's what elite teams do. So you're comparing weak teams to better your agenda of Pro-Kobe, Anti-LeBron and are completely ignoring the fact that LeBron played against a stacked team with the MVP.

Also, if PPG was the only factor in determining the greatest of a player, then AI should be considered one of the greatest ever. Bill Russell changed games with his defense. His defense was his offense. This dude out played Wilt Chamberlain regularly. Wilt was destroying teams (which of course, West needed his services to win that ring), but struggled to lead his team over Russell. Take Russell off that team and the Celtics are a footnote in history. They're probably the Knicks today. Take Sam Jones off the team, take Cousy off the team... maybe they lose a few Finals, but they still have plenty of hardware, thanks to Russell.

I know you're rivaling Vanessa when it comes to Kobe Fandom and you hate LeBron and the Celtics, but damn man, at least try to be objective.

ARE U BEIN SERIOUS? READ THAT MAGIC ROSTER U POSTED AGAIN...U ACTIN LIKE ITS NIGHT N DAY WHEN COMPARING IT TO THE WARRIOR ROSTER TO SAVE FACE. DO U REALLY BELIEVE THAT LEBRON IS ON KOBES LEVEL OR DO U JUST ACT LIKE THAT BECAUSE U LOVE HIM SO MUCH. BE HONEST.

BILL RUSSELL WAS A BEAST BUT HE UNDENIABLY PLAYED ON ALLSTAR TEAMS. WILT OUTPLAYED HIM REGULARLY, IT WAS RUSSELLS SUPPORTING CAST WHO WOULD OUTPLAY WILTS. AT THE END OF THE DAY, RUSSELL WAS GREAT, BUT NOT TOP 5 GREAT. ID PUT HIM IN THE TIM DUNCAN ECHELON, WHICH IS SOMEWHERE IN BETWEEN LEBRON-ISIAH-DR J AND KOBE-MAGIC-MJ
