Gotta admit, it would be pretty dope if Deathrow managed to get a second run with Snoop as the CEO. If he pulled that off it would be historic.

Curious to see if this album will actually be released on Deathrow Records. If it is, this will be the third official Deathrow album from Snoop. Not much longer until we find out.

The biggest thing will be if he can deliver with quality beats and rhymes. People associate Death Row with the G-funk era so if he really plans on bringing it back, he needs to have that sound to get things jump started. Then he can start expanding that sound to more 'current' times with new artists and different genres.

Spoiler alert - “Still Smokin” has Snoop spitting a fire verse over the beat from the Chronic intro

There’s a couple tracks that don’t flow well with most of the album.  But overall this is the best Snoop project in a long time.  He’s definitely put the effort and focus into this album and fans will appreciate that.

Listened to the album - not sure if every song is being previewed here. Without spoiling too much, I must say, I'm impressed with the lyrical effort and the all-around quality of these records. "Let's make a real record with real effort" is a line from a song on the album - Even Snoop is admitting to his lackluster efforts in the past.

One criticism so far is this two verse thing with songs - they're super short as a consequence; you're just getting into it and it's over. It's annoying. What the hell happened to the traditional 3-4 verse song?

Since it was mentioned already in the thread, Still Smokin' i.e. that Chronic 2.0 Intro is fucking great.

Lots of hat-tips to Harry-O. I think Snoop & Harry might've done a deal together to grab Deathrow Records.

Overall solid effort with about 3 oddball records in the bunch that should've been cut in my opinion. Songs should've been longer in general but happy to say the bar has been raised. Hoping for a deluxe version.

Too bad the Nas collabo it's just a hook. Album is worth it. Snoop sounds hard on this one.

I listened to most of the tracks and have to agree, wish they would add an extra verse instead of just having two. This is overall the best Snoop album in a long time with not many fillers at all, most tracks are quality and Snoop sounds hungry.

I hope there's some surprise features that weren't on the stream if not pretty disappointing on the features side.

Overall can't wait to listen in full once the album is released
