this is less about you and more about snoop my friend

and plus, we all know astra is just lookin for any reason to be negative

tbh since u say paid tha cost to be da boss is classic, im still holding out hope here

 :hubie:

Hey, comon I'm just realistic and I already know I will enjoy it :-)

it always makes positive effects to have pre-judges, low expectations and being little bit negative before listen an album or watching a movie.

i was just helping astra. now he thinks its trash, but when he listens to it he will like it, if i'd say its a classic, he was going to say naaaaaah after he listens.

true story :)

That's true if you take a closer look - but let's not go offtopic.

Thought that NHale was on the album but don't see him on that tracklist. There was a video clip posted on the thread earlier...unless he's not credited?

Wonder what he's saving the Eminem feature for? Didn't think Em fits with the Mount Westmore but who knows.

I won't judge until I hear the official release on Friday but, from what I heard this far Dogg is no longer capable of putting a decent body of work anymore. Some of the songs are dope but opening the album with a song called "Get this dick"????

Thanks for this link.

Have listened to it twice and I have to say, I am a happy customer, Snoop definitely step up his lyrics, they have substance throughout the album, switched flow and delivery very well.

I was skeptical about the Dababy feature but after second spin, I like it because he didn't go into Dababy world, he brought him into his world on a laidback funky production.

I have a lot of favourites that will be going into my everyday playlist on Friday: Doggystylin, Get this Dick, Conflicted, Coming Back, Jerseys in the Rafters, Crip ya enthusiasm (as a big Curb your enthusiasm fan this was very funny and glad Snoop didn't just drop a weak effort on it) and there is something about Catch a Vibe, the beat, the Snoop flow and HeyDeon voice, it's just perfect!

I'm sure I will play this to max this weekend

Bacc On Death Row and only Nate? Comon. What sense does it make to name the album like that.

I hear you. These songs are the ones I thought should've been scrapped. I think they were an appeal to the younger crowd but they totally interfere with the theme of the album. However, "It's Everywhere" with Uncle Murda is cool to me.

Soopafly produced Doggysylin' and Catch A Vibe (I think he did some ad-libs on there too during the chorus if I remember correctly).

DPG has pledged allegiance to and support for Deathrow so we'll see what that turns into but yeah, they should've been featured along with Tha Eastsidaz. If Deee & Goldie had verses on Doggystylin' it would've been next level for that track (plus it would've been longer, which is always good).

We'll see what Super Bowl Sunday reveals about the future of the original gang. But I'm buying this album. There's enough there to enjoy despite my criticisms.
