yea they shoulda dropped it as a single.. woulda been bigger than B Please

altho B Please helped launch Xzibit’s career

I was surprised when Bitch Please became so huge…not that I didn’t like the song, but just that the mainstream loved it.
I loved Xzibits first two albums so I was a little hesitant with the shift his career took with B Please, but then Restless dropped and I was sold.

In my memory X already had Paparazzi in 96 but now that I look at wikipedia maybe it was a bigger hit worldwide than in the US. The song was #4 on the dutch top 40 but #83 on US billboard. That’s wild. All these years I thought that was one of the biggest rap hits of my childhood so I figured it was the same in the US.

He had a bigger impact with "what you see is what you get" single in his 2nd album. Dre sent his crew (bud'da, mel-man, glove) to work with him before he executive produce for him. He did the same for Busta Rhymes with Genesis album.

Xzibit definitely was making noise…Paparazzi and What U See videos were definitely in rotation.   And his guest appearance on King Tee’s song Freestyle Ghetto got some attention too.  He was respected and had a following, but no one really saw stardom coming for him.

X was everywhere he was leading the game with assist on albums from Soopafly with Bacc to LA. 2 Killaz , BPlease 1 and 2 with Em he had songs with Limp Bizkit at the height of their fame was when Talib Kweli with his break out reflection eternal album all over the Eastsidaz first album 2 songs and 2 on Kurupts second album. He really worked his ass off

40 Dayz is a classic the bears were high quality the budget felt bigger with production.  Soopafly Mel-Man Budda Christ the Glove and E-Swift plus Sir Jinx getting it altogether was insane he prob the A&R low key cuz he has Dre’s team on the phone or some shit at that point

Really that Snoop Dre second run was with Xzibit and his new energy and lyrics flow and style … wish things were differently today with him … nothing no energy or mixtapes or music in any way loved Snoop’s and X chemistry too they have a dope freestyle too with Fubk Flex at the height of B-Please rhyming over beats and just clowning … they need to get some new shit together

N's In Paris is one of the worst songs I've ever heard.  Lazy ass writing.  "Don't lemme get in my zone, don't lemme get in my zone" GTFO.

What You may not know is that a nigga from the west produced this HITBOY
