Interesting list, many of them Ive never heard, especially the old school bangers.

The writeup on Hail Mary was deep.  Of all the Pac songs….

They put Hail Mary above California Love, interesting choice.

There rarely is with these things. It's probably done by an intern who knows a handful of songs and plays some random playlist to fill the gaps then inserts them at random. Of course it's all subjective but sometimes you can just tell.

If they were gonna quote a Kadafi line on fate while highlighted the prophecies of death in the song—how do they not include the the fact that Kadafi was also murdered just before the release of "Hail Mary?"

Still... the list was not that horrible considering how bad their Top 100 Rapper list was.  Because "Hail Mary" is probably the most legendary West Coast song ever in my opinion, but I'm okay with them puttin "G Thang" ahead of it just because my brother; for example, knows "G Thang" but probably doesn't even know "Hail Mary".  So "G Thang" had massive, world appeal.  But the best Pac joint that did have mass appeal, "California Love" was right around the top; so that's pretty good.

I mean, "California Love" was the best producer in history teamed with the best rapper in history on the same label during the greatest era in rap history I mean that's pretty much as big as it gets.

If I was doing a top 5 West Coast for a mainstream music mag like Rolling Stone I would do

1.  "Hail Mary"
2.  "California Love"
3.  "Gin and Juice"
4.  "Regulators"
5.   "St8 Outta Compton"
6.   "This DJ"
7.   "Today Was A Good Day"
8.   "What Would You Do?"
9.   "Murder Was the Case"
10.  "Dear Mama"

My thoughts exactly, like I said I was expecting way worse considering how bad their Top 100 rapper list was.  And the rest is decent too; I mean they got tracks like Xzibit "Get Your Walk On" and shit like that

This shit is actually banging!  I gave it a listen for the first time today because it was on this list.   Doesn't deserve top 3 though or even top 50, but it is a banger
