i'm white and i'm a hiphophead..... i know more shit than most of my friends, and they all different colours, and they know i know more than them... my skin colour doesn't change that. where i'm from, race isn't really a factor in music, you just enjoy it for what it is.

in my opinion the color barriers have been LONG abolished when it comes to hip hop.

Personally I feel like this shouldnt even be the question, I have been under the impression that no-one cares about color anymore when it comes to rap/hip hop.

nah imo opinion being white dont mean u dont know nuttin about hip hop.......i jus dont dig it when sum rich white kid jus buys eminem cds and no other hip hop heads cds cuz i find that shit.......i dunno the word but i dont like it.......

as for hip hop knowledge, colour dont gotta matta, shiit theres sum white niggaz on this board who know alot of shit i be like damn, but i dont care if homie be white or brown or black......

another thing i dont like though is when sum rich white dude knows his hip hop but comin from a rich area tries n criticises what sreet and mo hardcore rappers do sayin shit like "man the streets dont want this" or sum shit, i be like pleez shut the fuck up, u dont know shit about the streets, u neva been there so dont bring that into it, u know hip hop, well done, go get yaself a medal, but dont come talkin 2 me about what the streets want n dont want when u aint from there n dont know shit about it....but then goes with niggaz to, sum niggaz these days do my fuckin head in sta.........chattin shit they dont know about either........

but on the real, i aint racist, i jus dont appreciate ppl sayin shit about how they know so much n shit when they dont or when ppl try n tell me what the streets want n shit when they neva known about the streets, jus heard it used on a rap song...........

OHHHH one last thing................not tryna hate, but alot of rich muthafuckaz dont know shit about the term selling out..........i cant even be bothered to go into explainin that shit but when i hear ppl say how he sold out or she sold out, n there reasons for saying it, shows cats might have hip hop knowledge, but they dont know shit about realness, cuz ppl dont know shit about what selling out is........

but back to topic, nah being white dont make u less of a hip hop head if u are real
