.WMA or .RM which do you prefer? POLL

I've been using it for ripping music off my CD's for the past 5 months, I feel it provides better sound at a higher compression ratio. It's also streamable and all that shizz.

sure its very good..... but the issue isnt quality by any means.. actually thats a bad point.

there are two  main issues for the audio... and one other..

1) quality... it cant be 'CDQ' all the time unless the permission has been given (e.g. the DJ Jam stuff came direct from his people for us to distribute...) any other stuff shouldnt be posted in full quality really.... legally a low quality clip puts us in a better position than distributing a CDQ copy of a song.

2) the main bad thing against ogg.... accessibility... i believe visitors to the site should be provided with a more widely used format over something "technically better"... if 90% of people windows/mac can play .wma wherea only 40% can play .ra .. then i'd go for .wma... how many people can play ogg?
i'm not even sure if the mac can play .wma..
personally i'd go for low quality mp3s... coz pretty everyone everywhere can play mp3s.

3) size... gotta keep dubcnn's bandwidth down too.. so rud can at least eat.. even if he aint got a roof over his head

Fair enough, although I don't think windows users will have any trouble playing it as it runs in Winamp. And like I said; higher compression for the same or higher quality (against MP3). But I'll be happy with WMA, Realplayer is ass.

sorry for bringin this back but im havin the same poll on wc2k right now  

looks like people like wma more than rm but believe it or not, rm is better quality than wma (at the same file size, unless you make the wma better quality then itwill be like 2 mb)

Yeah which version do you use? You  need the new one, "RealOne Player" this is much better and never freezed
