I think Spain might beat them if they meet. Spain hasn't been as exciting to watch but theyve not conceded a goal all tournament so far.

I'm not a huge soccer guy personally but I've been into this World Cup

maybe because my baseball team sucks and the Knicks season is over

I can't complain though I got a championship which I probably will never see again for one my teams

what made u like the mets and not yankees?

is it like clipper fans in LA who are generally contrarians siding with the team that doesnt have the roots and history in the city just to go against the grain?

i was just in new york so its an interesting dynamic to me

yeah it was passed down from my father who was an OG Mets fan since they were formed in 1962...he started taking me to games in the late 80s when they had a really good team...he also would take me to MSG to see the Knicks those years when they turned it around with Rick Pitino coaching and I became a fan of them too

England has impressed me more so far and I think they have a better squad overall but then again theyre notorious chokers.

When he immigrated from Greece back in the day he ended up settling in Philly...so when he first started to understand and learn baseball he was a Phillies fan...in those days there was a huge rivalry between the American League and National League since the only time they played each other was in the World Series before interleague play...so after a few years he moved to NYC for work and it was just around the time the Mets were formed...so he became a Mets fan from just about day 1
