"Best Movie" nominations for MTV Movie Awards
« on: April 24, 2004, 02:23:32 AM »
50 First Dates
Pirates Of The Caribbean
Finding Nemo
Return Of The King
X-Men 2

What the FUCK?!?!? No Kill Bill? It's nominated in other categories - and instead of that they have 50 First Dates or X-Men 2 here? God damn... ::)

Kill Bill is overrated by some fellas because Quentin made it. It's his worst movie in my opinion. Anyways, how can you expect true gore in the Best Movie Section in the MTV Movie Awards in the first place?
Cause I don't care where I belong no more
What we share or not I will ignore
And I won't waste my time fitting in
Cause I don't think contrast is a sin
No, it's not a sin

Well it did get a nomination for best fight too (the fight with GoGo), so why not? And yeah, there's a lot of Quentin hype around the movie, but so what - Kill Bill is still dope as fuck!

Kill Bill is a fuckin great movie - should be nominated
id be surprised if Vol. 2 isnt next year

but its not like it'd win - ROTK will probably take it

surprising 50 First Dates is - there are plenty of movies better then 50 First Dates
"We need to find courage, overcome
Inaction is a weapon of mass destruction"
- Faithless - Mass Destruction

"It's better to help people than garden gnomes."
- Amelie (2001)

"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself."
- Franklin Roosevelt

"Power to the people, not the governments."
- Chuck D

"The possibility of physical and mental breakdown is now very real. No sympathy for the Devil, keep that in mind. Buy the ticket, take the ride."
- Raoul Duke

No Kill Bill? Booooooooooooo!
Sure, there's a huge hype around Quentin's movies, but that doesn't mean his movies suck.

What's so funny? Those are the two best horror movies that came out in 2003...They easily deserve a spot over "50 First Dates"...That movie was WEAK.

If Freddy VS Jason was one of the best horror movies of the year, I'd like to see how bad the worst one sucks.

You gotta' be a fan of both franchises to understand the greatness.
