Anyways, I think the MP3 rule isn't too good...Whats wrong with posting direct links to MP3s (or asking if somone has a song in MP3)? Some people don't have MiRc and all that shit...And sometimes I post Exclusives and shit, and I can only post them in MP3, so is this prohibited from now on or what? Well, I vote against that rule...Either way, I'm cool...PeACe

i dont know if you all noticed but i had started doing it too....i was just starting to offer mp3s and now it seems like i wont be able to when i was planning on making it a habbit...but its cool if you all feel like that...but i kinda agree with know i know

you cant *directly link the files* you can however link to a page that contains the files.

technically not much difference... but it is in the eyes of some... since the MP3 is downloaded from an external site, not directly from WCC.. you dig?

ps

look for the user with the name jake in his name.. duh!
if you get stuck look through hall of mirrors, its in there.

a lot of these things are unwritten rules anyways... so writing em them down is just there to clear up when people ask... plus we gotta cover our ass on the mp3 thing

I think its cool if someone posts em up for a treat but I want a rule against people asking for them. "Can someone please post this up in mp3". DUnno how you guys feel about it but it gets on my nerves.

Fuck that rule...People should be allowed to post MP3's any way they want, so that everyone gets a chance to hear the music...Most of the MP3's posted are direct links anyways, so taking away direct links to MP3's is basically taking away MP3's...


And I already chatted with Jake yesterday...Cant belive I havent realized he was back yet...PeACe

its NOT the same thing... the law is such that if a site provides a direct link to a file then its responsible.

whereas with a link on an external page it 1) opens a new browser window 2) has the link obviously on the external page.

its only a small difference, and technically yes, it shouldnt matter. but the fact is it does.

Yeah i got 2 things i would like people 2 think about:

1. Let people have their own opinions.

2. Maybe not a rule, but give hiphop from other countrys a chance and listen 2 it, most of u americans dont give (for example) Swedish hiphop a listen.
