MMLP was a sick joint, anyone could bump that, from the beats to the hooks, lyrics....even with the dumb shit......the joints as a whole were sick........eminem show was weak, had some rock bullshit goin on for it, nobody i know really digz that joint......noone still plays it.......lets hope encore aint nuttin like a rock joint cuz if it is, its gon be weak dawg

SSLP was DOPE, MMLP & TES are on the same level I guess.. i didn't mind the rock tracks since thats what my parents listen to. the Queen sample on 'Till I Collapse' was one of the greatest things i've ever heard

I agree TES maybe had too much Rock stuff in it. Although you gotta take into account that he was still trying shit out with his production and that many producers borrow stuff from classics.. just that he used rock samples..

My point here is that it's all "Rock stuff". Hip Hop was founded partly on sampling rock, more importantly hip hop is rock, so it should be no travesty that Eminem has a rock influenced production. If you don't like the music on Em's albums then fine, but don't give too much crdit to hacks like Dre, who has almost no muscial talent. Dre's got a good ear and he knows what melodies to but the rights to and use as his own. That's about it. With ot that Rock Stuff we many have seen a Dr Dre to begin with

Queen sample?? It was just a Kick-Kick-Snare drum pattern...Lots of rap songs have that... I wouldn't consider that a sample.

He'll never make a classic album to you, but to the general music public MMLP and Eminem Show are both considred classics. Just because you don't like something doesn't mean it's not a classic. I don't care much for Thriller, outside of a couple singles, but I would never deny that it's a classic.

why you coppin pleas for em? when did i ever say that i didnt like those albums?...and who is this "general music public"? provide some sources, cause like jay said "we don't believe you, you need more people" a classic must have replay value...what eminem album do you still play? if you consider eminem albums personal classics, thats fine by me, but i honestly dont see how any of them could be considered classics. that word gets thrown around on here way too much. theres probably only about 20-30 real classic rap albums.
