Noel Gallagher 'hates' Eminem & 50

Oasis star Noel Gallagher has accused rappers Eminem and 50 Cent of encouraging youth violence.

The guitarist told Observer Music Monthly that he hates hip hop because of the negative messages it gives to fans.



"I despise hip hop. Loathe it. Eminem is an idiot and I find 50 Cent the most distasteful character I have ever crossed in my life."

And Noel reckons that rap stars should take part of the blame for escalating levels of youth violence.

"I'm not saying they are directly responsible, but that's how you end up with these gangs of youths stabbing people."

lol, Noel Gallagher is an idiot, anybody else´s mouth would have surprised me a lil more having that come out of it, but in his case I´m not exactly apalled. He should keep making music and his opinions to himself

I usually find his commentary funny and stupod, but I don't have a problem with what he said. Not that it started with 50 and Em, but watching very young black kids now compared to before the rise of serious gangster or violent rap, I notice a big change in how they act and treat each other, and a lot of times they are quoting 50 Cent songs.
