Xzibit's DVD Goes Gold!

Fortress Entertainment's original DVD project, Xzibit's 'Restless X-Posed' has been officially certified Gold in the US! The DVD which was released in December last year has been hot from the start with a constant stream of sales.

Head of Fortress Entertainment and Directer of the Xzibit project, Devin DeHaven, was more than happy with the news: "its amazing, especially since when we started the Xzibit project we had no expectations. It wasnt a business then so its really a testiment to the product."

Xzibit is still working on his new album 'Man Vs Machine' which is still looking likely to be released around the middle of the year. Fortress have many projects in the works right now including DVD's from Run DMC, DJ Quik and WC.

I dont believe this. Xzibit has enough trouble selling 500,000 copies of his albums, let alone his DVD.

Spot on... "Restless" is double platinum and still moving units... maybe dude was referring to Xzibit's earlier albums, I don't know... anyway, dope news... Xzibit is my favorite rapper, and I still haven't got my hands on this DVD yet... damn...  :-/

LOL! I forgot to write for his next album. If his DVD goes gold then fa sho his next album will sell as many units as his last which was double platinum. I think he's an established superstar now like Snoop, Jay or Nas who go at least double platinum each time they drop.

A DVD going Gold isnt the same as an album going gold.  It doesnt take 500,000 DVDs sold for it to be gold.

You better get it, it's the next best music DVD ever, only surpassed by "Up in Smoke".

"Restless xpossed" gold....yes

I hope we see another in depth Xzibit look....into his Man/Machine lp.

The video's on this joint were a plus IMO...

Unlike the Liks dvd...or the Kurupt...Which were still tight as hell aswell...But it's just something bout them Real video's that make me wanna collect them all.

A liks "The video's" dvd would be tight....cause we never see them on tv.. :'(

I guarantee you that Restless did NOT go platinum, no matter what he or anyone says. In order to sell 2 million albums you have to either be a household name or have a hit single, and Xzibit did neither.

Xzibit HAD a HIT SINGLE.. X.. it had MAJOR (and i mean MAJOR) radio play here in GERMANY! every1 was singin that!
and it WENT 2x platinum....  :P
