 We're back with a brand new record by the group No One, which consists of producer extraordinaire Dae One and Noni Spitz. A couple of weeks back we dropped one of their tracks called "When U See Me", which received great feedback on the forums. I would be surprised if it turns out any different with this new record.

 Dubcnn is back on this beautiful Friday morning with a world premiere! We have received a new video from DJ Quikfeaturing Terrace Martin, dedicated to the Blue Line Family, a kennel in So. Cal breeding American pitbull terriers.
The Blue Line Family seems to have a close relationship with several West Coast artists, as a few months back a video dropped called "Blue Line Kennels" featuring Kurupt, Problem and Bad Lucc over a Terrace Martin production. Now we've been sent this world premiere to bring to you, featuring none other than DJ Quik representing for the dogs, along with his partner T. Martin:

 I know a lot of you probably still aren't aware of the lyrical monster that is Locksmith, but that's alright. The Bay Area rep hasn't released enough music as of late for you to really be up on him. Earlier this year, we dropped a short introduction video called "I.M.G.M.I. Introduction", followed by a solo joint called "Therapeutic", both produced by E-A-Ski.
With such an incredible talent, it is a must for Locksmith to start releasing music more often, and we hope that what we have for you today is just a taste of what's to come in the weeks/months that follow.
A new Locksmith video has been released called "Rare Form", and it truly is Hip-Hop in its rarest form. Those of you who watched Locksmith rip apart MC's on MTV's Battle championship a few years back already know about Lock's capabilities, but this right here should silence any doubters:

 I just got a phone call from Watts Finest Jay Rock himself, letting me know that he was gonna flood dubcnn in august! The Warner Bros signee is going to do a "30 songs/30 days" series, where he will be releasing something new everyday.

 Throughout the last week or so, Crooked I dropped two 8-11 freestyles promoting the Slaughterhouse album dropping on that date. The first one was over 50 Cent's "OK You're Right" and the second one was an original production by Quest. For the third installment, Crooked I picked Drake's "Best I Ever Had" and he calls it "H's On The Side". in allusion to the tattoo Crooked got recently, where he misspelt the word "slaughter" on his arm and later add the word "house" on the side of it. In other Crooked I news, his "Mr. Pig Face Weapon Waist" EP has been pushed back until September and the first single for the project is called "Guess Who's Back" and features Snoop Dogg.  Holy sh-t, this came out of nowhere. Eminem just dropped a monster of a diss song a few minutes ago, titled "The Warning", retaliating to Mariah Carey's latest track "Obsessed", which is obviously directed towards Slim Shady.
Eminem had taken the first shots, dedicating the track "Bagpipes From Bagdad" off his last album "Relapse" to Mariah and her new husband Nick Cannon. Nick later responded via a blog post, where he threatened to "end Eminem's career", and Mariah Carey recently released the aformentioned track "Obsessed".
This right here though, "The Warning", this changes everything. Eminem absolutely murders it, I haven't heard him flow so hungry in years (with the exception on his Alchemist freestyle on the Westwood show), makes me wish he would have spit like this on all of his new album!
The track was produced by none other than Dr. Dre, just to top it off! Anyway, enough talking, go ahead and check out "The Warning" below:

.......................................................................................... Daz Dillinger Gears Up For "Public Enemiez" On August 11th - By : Nima - July 30, 2009
 Fans of Tha Dogg Pound know that they never have to wait long for a new release from their favorite group members. Kurupt recently dropped his collaboration effort with DJ Quik, "BlaQKout", and it is now time for the other half of the Pound, Daz Dillinger, to grace his fans with a new album.
The new record is entitled "Public Enemiez" and as the title suggests, it is premised around the "Public Enemies" flick which highlights 1930s gangster John Dillinger. "Public Enemiez" offers insight to Daz’s personal experiences, allowing listeners to see who Daz Dillinger really is.
Tracks such as "Life Stagez" and "N My Neighborhood" find Daz reminiscing about hismself and depicting the inner-city lifestyle that is, to this day, prevalent in "his neighborhood". "Tell Me What U Got", takes you on a trip through his days on Death Row Records and sheds light on his feelings about his former boss, Suge Knight. While most of the album carries a mellow sound, the party anthem "Meet Me @ The Strip Club" succeeds in switching up the mood throughout the record.
"Public Enemiez" is a true solo album, meaning no other rappers are featured on it – something that rarely happens anymore these days. Daz did however reach out to some of his favorite R&B crooners Latoya Williams, Chris Starr, Los and Nicole Wray to assist him on the hooks, as well as his production partners Soopafly and Ivan Johnson to co-produce with him.

 About five years ago, Snoop Dogg decided to enter the mixtape game. As with anything that the Doggfather touched, he had to do it big! With his „Welcome 2 Tha Chuuch“ mixtape series , which spawned a total of ten mixtapes, Snoop Dogg left his mark in the mixtape game for good and even ended up releasing an official „Welcome 2 Tha Chuuch – Tha Album“ via Koch Records in 2007.
While most of the early Chuuch mixtapes had Snoop and his Dogg Pound crew rapping over other artist’s beats, the later releases featured all original production.
In 2009, Snoop Dogg has decided to take another stab at the Chuuch series, but this time not in form of a mixtape, but an official compilation record, entitled „Bacc 2 Tha Chuuch Vol. 1“. This project features the usual suspects, Snoop Dogg, Kurupt, Daz, some familiar faces such as Ray J, Damani, Uncle Chucc, Tha Twinz, and it will also be introducing the public to a series of new acts that Snoop has been working with, such as the Hustle Boyz, the TC’s, Tha Raw Doggz and singer Chris Starr.
The production on „Bacc 2 Tha Chuuch“ was entirely handled by Snoop himself under his Niggarachi moniker, except for one song, which was produced by 1500 Or Nothin’ and was originally recorded for Ego Trippin’. The compilation has a nice blend of the vintage West Coast sound, which paired with the new talent showcased on the album equals a fresh sound that both old school and new school heads can appreciate.

The project shows exactly how talented Geo Brown is on all levels as a rap artist. The project is hosted by his close friend Noni Spitz and Bay Area's Own; DJ Backside. The project also has that Dae One touch being that he mixed and helped over see the project along with Geo himself.

 It's been 6 months since we last heard new solo music from the Compton, L.A. artist Marleik. Back in January we released his R&B mixtape Perfect Timing alongside DJ Ill Will and DJ Rockstar.
Marleik, best known from his affiliation with Problem and Derang Ent, packed that mixtape with New West heat, with production coming from Dem Jointz, Dae One, Terrace Martin and Disko, with features from Mykestro, Problem and K-Active.

 We're back with Part 2 of our in-depth interview with DJ Khalil! In the first part, we discussed Khalil's upbringing, his introduction to the music game and how he ended up hooking up with Chace Infinite and forming Self Scientific. We then got into his introduction to Dr. Dre, becoming a staff producer, the controversy around "Detox" and the reference tracks leaking, and much more.
In Part 2, Khalil describes a typical studio session with Dr. Dre, the creative process, and he talks (or not) about Bishop Lamont's current situation at Aftermath.
We then get into his current projects, such as the Clipse and Kanye track "Kinda Like A Big Deal" that he produced. He also tells us the story behind the new Slaughterhouse single "The One", which features Khalil's alternative group The New Royales, and he talks about upcoming Self Scientific projects.

 You might be familiar with the name Chop Black as being one half of the WhoRidas, the Oakland rap duo from the late 90's, who in a time where almost everything coming out of Oakland was coming from East Oakland, birthed a unique West Oakland sound. Their hits "Shot Callin' & Big Ballin'" and "Talkin' Bout Bank" introduced a gritty, yet catchy style of No. Cal Hip-Hop.
Chop, who is also the younger brother of Saafir, used to go by King Saan back then. Under his new name, Chop Black, released a solo album called "Stay Heated"" and his "Mercenary Mixtape" series.
He's currently working on his third solo album, entitled "Community Service". We have his new street banger available for ya'll to check out. It's called "Money 2 Earn" and features Yukmouth. A street video was filmed to the track last week, look out for that dropping soon.

 The hype around The Game's upcoming fourth studio album is building! While the Compton rapper is on his European tour, videos from recording sessions for the "R.E.D. Album" have been released online via the production team 1500 Or Nothin', which gave fans a taste of what they can expect of the album musically.
Now DJ Haze has released a new Black Wall Street mixtape called "Code Red: Levele Six", and it features three previously unheard songs. Two of them are snippets and the third one is a full track called "NBA 2k10".

Dubcnn sat down with possibly the hottest producer in the game right now, DJ Khalil for an in-depth 2-part interview. In this first part, we discuss DJ Khalil's upbringing, being the son of a NBA player and how he first got introduced to music. Khalil tells us about his inspirations and his first steps as a musician and how he ended up meeting his partner-n-rhyme Chace Infinite to form Self Scientific.
We then get into his relationship with Dr. Dre and Aftermath, on which we tried to get Khalil to talk as much as possible.
As you know, it's hard to find out what's really going on in the Aftermath studios, but Khalil opens up about the recent Detox leaks and Dre's reaction to them, what he thinks of fans criticizing Dre's perfectionism and why he admires his mentor as much as he does.

 Grammy winning rapper and producer Michael “Evidence” Perretta signs multi album deal with Indie powerhouse Rhymesayers Entertainment. As one-third of the venerable Los Angeles Hip Hop staple Dilated Peoples, Evidence has spent the better part of his decade plus in the game, touring the globe and collectively selling well over 700,000 units.
In addition to his Dilated work, Evidence has produced tracks for the Beastie Boys, Linkin Park, Defari, Planet Asia and more, including co-production on Kanye West’s debut The College Dropout.
In 2007, Evidence set out to solidify his solo career with the release of the critically acclaimed The Weatherman LP. Followed up by 2008’s The Layover EP and over 200 shows, Evidence has spent the last couple of years building a foundation of supporters, fan by fan. With this momentum Evidence knew he needed a team that could match his current pace and energy.
When asked about his choice of partnering up with Rhymesayers Evidence explained, “This is the most natural move I could have made to further the evolution of my career, while maintaining my identity and passion for the music. Rhymesayers has a proven track record of being focused and dedicated to their artists and I’m excited to be a part of that.”
Evidence will be touring this Fall as direct support on Brother Ali’s Fresh Air Tour while putting the finishing touches on his Rhymesayers debut Cats & Dogs slotted for release early 2010.

 Pac Div (Pacific Division) have solidied their position as one of the freshest new groups to emerge from California in the last couple of years. Emerging from the underground in 2006 with their debut mixtape, they quickly started buzzing on- and offline, impressing listeners with their own, yet easily accessible sound.
They ended up signing a major deal with Universal Motown Records and are set to release their debut album "Grown Kid Syndrome" in late 2009. In the meanwhile they're staying busy pumping out new music to their fanbase.

Roscoe Umali reached out to One Block Radius and 1st Place to assist him on the track. The record premiered on Power 106 in Los Angeles and has already broken into 20 radio markets across the nation and climbed 70 spots on the Rhythmic charts in 2 weeks.

 1500 Or Nothin' are quickly becoming one the most sought after production teams in the game. Through their YouTube making of videos they've shown you how they put tracks together from scratch, these guys have musicians, producers, singers, everything you need to put together a good record.
They've just posted a new video blog, which documents the making of The Game's new album "The R.E.D. Album". This is Blog #1 of several to come and on this one you get to see Game vibing in the studio with 1500 Or Nothin', working on a song called "White Soft Porn".
My favorite part is towards the end though, where you can hear them working on a beat that sounds like a f-ckin' West Coast monster. Watch the video below:

Daz Dillinger is gearing up to release his latest solo album "Public Enemiez" on August 11th. We've been keeping you updated on this album, and as the release date is approaching we're back with a brand new exclusive. A few months ago you heard the first leak, "Tell Me What U Got" (Audio/Video), followed by the video to "N My Neighborhood" (watch here). Both of the tracks were received positively by the fans, and I'm sure it won't be no different with the track we're bringing you today, "Life Stagez". This is a more personal Daz record, on which, as the title suggests, he takes the listener through the different stages of his life.

I had the chance to hear the whole "Public Enemiez" album already and I was positively surprised. The record is in the same vein as "Tha Dogg Pound Gangsta LP", which was also entirely produced by Daz, with no features except for R&B singers. Daz definitely stepped his pen game up as well, opening up and allowing the listener to take a look inside the mind of Daz Dillinger.

 It was July 2007 when we first released a track that was said to be from the upcoming new Mack 10 solo album "Soft White" through his Hoo Bangin' label and Cash Money. Since then we have seen a number of leaks from the album including; Street Sh-t, Big Baller & more recently So Sharp.
He recently shot a video for the single "So Sharp" and we have it available for viewing below. Unlike a previous version that leaked with Jim Jones featured, the official single features Lil Wayne & Rick Ross. There is so much eye candy in the video, I know everybody is going to love this!

La Coka Nostra released their highly anticipated and long awaited debut group project "A Brand You Can Trust".  Today also marks the day of the release of Alchemist's "Chemical Warfare" album.  Today saw the release of an album that has been in the works for about a decade. I'm talking about Tha Realest debut album "Witness Tha Realest". Even though he had a hard time gaining recognition because of his obvious similarity with the late great 2Pac Shakur, Tha Realest has managed to stay in the game and you've heard him as a part of Yukmouth's group The Regime. He finally released his album, off which we brought you the single "Get It N a few months back. The album inclues features by Ray J, Fat Joe, WC, J.  Last, but definitely not least is the solo project by Big Krizz Kaliko, better known as the smooth voice blessing most of Tech N9ne's songs and assisting him during his live show. After dropping a solo album last year called "Vitiligo", Krizz Kaliko is back already with a full album titled "Genius". On this one, Krizz really gets to show his full talent and his versitality.
