Dubcnn: This question is from “sniperuk.” Do you have any plans to release “Problem Child?”

Eastwood: What does he know about “Problem Child”? That’s crazy my nigga! I was gonna call my album “Problem Child” on Death Row. That’s crazy. I don’t think that will ever be released unless Suge gets some distribution for it and puts it out, but I doubt that will happen. He’s got all the masters to that because when I left Death Row, I gave him all that shit. I left with nothing. So I don’t know, I doubt if that shit will ever come out. It’s hot though, it was dope – dope as a motherfucker! I know what I might do, I think I might just release a new album and call it “Problem Child,” and then just give you more of this up to date fire. So, “Problem Child,” thanks for putting that back in my head! Shout out to Sniper in the UK!

Dubcnn: Tell us about this performance you did recently, I heard there were a lot of guest appearances that night…

Eastwood: Yeah man, I just rocked Club Hypnotiq last night. I had my family out there, I had all my blood homies in the red t-shirts, and all my crip homies in the blue t-shirts. We went and did it real motherfucking big. I had to show the city of Glendale, all my LA niggas, Compton niggas, Long Beach niggas, Watts niggas - I had to show them that red and blue make green my nigga. We can get together and unify at the end of the day, get some paper, and do something positive! If Self Made has got to be the forefront of that, so be it! Self Made it is nigga - anything that brings some type of unity. That’s what Self Made is all about. God bless the child that can hold his own, not God bless the child who will go out here, shoot, rob, steal, and kill, end up being destructive and end up in jail. Naw, those niggas end up either dead or in jail for life. So I’m just trying to show niggas a better route up out the hood and [have them] feel good about being self-made – doing something and standing up on their own two feet, and pushing something righteous in their life, you feel me? So that’s what Self Made is all about man.

My show was crazy, we had a ball. The crowd participation was bananas, I headlined the show and we had about three or four acts. My nigga Jay Rock came out, shout out to Jay Rock, he came and supported your boy. Macadoshis, Flame, there were a bunch of cats in the house for me. Shout out to all the cats that came and supported my show. We had a ball, I just basically gave them an update on what I was doing with the album. I gave them like eight songs - four from the album and four were just random hot songs that I did over the years, so we rocked the house. I finished off with my new hit single called “Let Me Do My Thing,” produced by The Interns, shout out to The Interns. My nigga Meech Wells has got that “West Really” all over the radio, so I know y’all done heard that one! Me, Game, and Jay Rock, shout out to my nigga Game. I’m just going hard in the paint right now, so it is what it is!

We’ve got the next mixtape coming. I finna surprise Meech right now with the title, I ain’t even told him! It’s gonna be Eastwood, Meech Wells, and DJ Skee Present: “Block Noise!” If you’re from the hood, like we’re from the hood, just think about it, what do you hear? What’s block noise? You hear gun shots, ambulances, you hear police sirens, you hear motherfuckers yelling and screaming, babies crying and shit, and you hear loud ass ghetto music! We’re the niggas that put that music in the hood, so I call it “Block Noise.” So that’s the name of the next mixtape.

Dubcnn: Meech, are you’re gonna be doing all of the production on this?

Eastwood: Yeah Meech is in a hole with all of this. He shoots the beat, I knock them down, he OKs them, and then we just keep going! If that concept fits [the album,] we throw it there, if that concept fits the mixtape, we throw it there. That nigga’s shootin’ them everyday, as he’s making them, creating them, he’s shootin’ them and I’m goin’! While I’m writing, he’s making more beats for a nigga, you feel me? So it’s crazy chemistry!

Dubcnn: Now we’ve got questions for Meech from the forum. This one is from “Big Ron.” How do you feel about the current state of West Coast hip-hop?

Meech Wells: It’s cool. I feel like I’m working with people that contain what it is right now, so I feel good about that. The current state of the West Coast is basically: new niggas is doing something and the niggas that been in there are doing something too. It’s about the new, it’s always fresh blood. Eventually, those dudes [will be] veterans. Everybody’s gotta step down at some point.

Eastwood: Pass that torch to the young niggas man!

Meech Wells: So I feel good about that.

Eastwood: He feels good that there’s some young new niggas in the game that he fucks with that’s gonna shut ‘em down!

Dubcnn: This one’s from “C-Clamp.” You and E-White stopped working together after “The Whiteout,” so what brought you guys back together?

Meech Wells: Just fate! I heard good stuff flying around, and it just happened. He hit me up on Myspace, I hit him back, and we just hooked up a few days later. He already knew Eastwood, so he hopped on one [of his tracks,] my brother Moja [aka Young Mack Life] got on there too. That’s definitely my artist right here!

Young Mack Life: Self Made – Young Mack, AKA Moja. Fucking with my nigga Eastwood, we ain’t taking it platinum, we taking it titanium! Let Meech tell you about it! Look out for the mixtape too, coming soon. It’s the west’s best kept secrets [on “The New West World Order,”] so look out for that.

Dubcnn: Tell us about the “New West World Order” mixtape…

Eastwood: There’s a lot of kept secrets over here on the West Coast that need to get exposed.

Meech Wells: Exactly!

Eastwood: That’s what that mixtape is basically about. He [Mack Life] is one of the new kept secrets, and he needs to get exposed too. So he’s saying he ain’t gonna do nothing selfish, he didn’t say he was “selfish made,” he said he was “self made.” So he opened everybody else up. We’re gonna go ahead and put all the tight new niggas on the West on the motherfucker.

Young Mack Life: You can look out for the infamous Eastwood. We’ve got E-White on there, we’ve got Young Mack on there, Yukmouth, Jay Rock, G. Malone! It’s over.

Eastwood: It’s over man! It’s done.

Dubcnn: Again, I’m assuming you’re gonna do all the production on this Meech?

Meech Wells: Yeah, you know! I’ve already got enough material, and we’re just laying shit down man! We’ve got it mapped out pretty much, and people are feeling it, so it’s doing it’s thing! We’re gonna keep hitting them, elevating!

Young Mack Life: We’re gonna take it out, it’s the brother connection right here man! I’ve just been overseas in Europe and all that, and they need some perfectionists, so we’re about to take it worldwide with this one!

Dubcnn: Is there anywhere else we can catch you at Mack Life?

Young Mack Life: Check out my Myspace site. I’ve got my new music page coming up, so peep the songs on there baby!

Eastwood: Big Eastwood, log on, ww…you already know what it is! [MySpace]

Meech Wells: I always leave a link in the forum, so just look in there. [MySpace]

Dubcnn: This next question is for both of you guys. What are your thoughts on the success of the “West Really” single? It’s been getting played all over the radio and everything. How does that feel?

Eastwood: Shit, it’s a blessing! I rocked that shit [on stage recently,] Game wasn’t there because he just [had] gotten back from overseas and was trying to get settled in and shit. But a nigga rocked that motherfucker and the crowd went crazy! I think the success of that song probably caught us by surprise though because we were just working. That nigga [Meech] came with a dope beat, and that nigga said “Who do you hear on it?” I said, “Jay Rock and Game,” and that nigga said, “Yeah, me too!” We put the niggas on there and when we did the record and it was done we was like, “Oh my God!”

We took it to the radio station and we didn’t know the DJs would go all crazy like that, but they went bananas, and that’s good though, you know what I’m sayin’? We just wanted to get some spins and see what the feedback was, and they started playing that shit every motherfucking day, all day, for a month. We were like, “Shit!” It’s still in rotation. You know what, shout out to the DJs. Shout out to all of the DJs that spin that “West Really” across the world!

Meech Wells: DJ Skee!

Eastwood: DJ Skee, you got that crackin’, and my nigga Reflex, y’all got that crackin’! Felli Fel, you already know what it is homie, keep us in rotation! Miguel, what’s up Miguel!

Meech Wells: sourMILK!

Eastwood: sourMILK, all you cats my nigga! Holla at your boy. We appreciate y’all for spinning that “West Really.” We’ve got more heat rocks coming. Matter of fact, that shit’s coming on the radio in about an hour, so tune into that “West Really.” Eastwood, Meech Wells, Jay Rock, and The Game! Holla.

Dubcnn: Remember, you guys can request the song on Power 106 by texting “Eastwood – West Really” to 69106!

Eastwood: Exactly! You guys go and text that in and get that “West Really” going fam!

Dubcnn: Meech, tell us about what’s happening with the Young Joker mixtape…

Meech Wells: It’s done. We’re just putting the final touches on it, just getting the artwork done and stuff like that. “Ghetto” is getting spins too. So yeah, that’s about to come out.

Dubcnn: You guys have been working a lot with Yukmouth lately. Tell us about that…

Meech Wells: Yukmouth’s cool man. He comes in, smokes about 10 blunts, and puts it down! He puts that shit down hard!

Eastwood: Yuk is my nigga. That nigga knows what’s up. Yuk is a good nigga. Ever since I hit this game Yuk’s been a nigga to embrace me, feel me, and put me on his albums and shit. I was on every album that nigga Yuk released for the past two years, and I appreciate him for that. So we cool, I even squashed that beef with him and Game. So we hella good. Yuk is my nigga – I’m always gonna fuck with Yuk and Yuk is always gonna fuck with me. We got heat too. We just did some shit called “We Runnin’ From 5-0,” that shit’s crazy! Didn’t we put that up?

Meech Wells: Yeah!

Eastwood: You heard that too!

Meech Wells: We’ve got some more though.

Eastwood: That was just the start of what we’re doing. We’ve got some shit coming!

Dubcnn: You guys give us so much music on Dubcnn, some of us were wondering if you’re going to have all new material when your album drops!

Eastwood: Man, we’ve got so much material it’s ridiculous homie! All that which y’all heard was just ear candy. You know how you have eye candy - that was just ear candy, that’s it!

Meech Wells: When that budget kick in, we’re gonna go stupid! When we’ve got an outside label, we’re gonna go so hard. We’re already going hard, it’s beautiful. It’s nothing!

Eastwood: Somebody, I don’t know who it is, but somebody is gonna come to me and Meech with some real money, and they’re gonna have a vision just as big as ours. They’re gonna be willing to put millions and millions of dollars behind this vision, and we’re gonna flip that shit to a billion. Somebody’s gonna do it my nigga, watch! Trust me homie, somebody’s gonna do it. Whether it takes this interview or whatever else a motherfucker hears - a mixtape song, and album song, a beat, a Meech Wells beat, whatever! It’s gonna happen homie! Just remember I said it first here on Dubcnn, so you can be like, “Damn, this nigga East is a prophet!” I did that!

Dubcnn: So who do you have as far as guest appearances on “The New West World Order”?

Eastwood: G. Malone, Game, Jay Rock, and the rest is just like my squad, the Self Made squad, and the Paperchasin’ squad. We’ve got Young Mack Life on there, and we’ve got Young Joker on there. [E-White will be on the mixtape as well.]

Dubcnn: Eastwood, I heard you have been dealing with Rudy Youngblood from “Apocalypto”…

Eastwood: Yeah, Rudy Youngblood, that’s my nigga. Shout out to Rudy Youngblood. Remember the movie I was telling you about, “Outcast”? I actually scored that last night [because of] him bringing the director out. He was at the show last night, came to check me out, and he brought the director out. The director loved damn near everything about me, from the movement, to the swag, to the way I was dressed, to the show, my family, he loved everything! So he tied me into the movie! [There were no] if, ands, or buts, no pre-reading the script or nothing, it was just automatically done, so I thought that was a blessing. That wouldn’t be possible without my nigga Rudy, and shout out to my nigga Tommy too. Tommy is the one who introduced me to Rudy. Tommy is my dogg, just a brother from another mother. He just laced me knowing that Rudy is in the acting world, he’s big, and they were already close homies.

Shit, Eastwood is [Tommy’s] partner, I’m already in the music industry and I’m big, and we’re homies! So we tied the knot, just on some corporate shit. I come to find out that Rudy kicks it just like I kick it, he bleeds just like I bleed, and we breathe the same motherfuckin’ air. We get down the same way, we just have a ball. He’s a cool nigga. He ain’t nothing like the nigga you see in the movie, because that shit took like hella years of training, of learning that talk and all of that. So shout out to my nigga Rudy Youngblood. You’ll be seeing him in my music video, we’ll get that video crackin’ man!

Dubcnn: Do you guys want to say anything else to everyone on Dubcnn?

Eastwood: Request that “West Really,” and keep it in rotation wherever you’re at! Be on the lookout for everything we’ve got coming out, “New West World Order,” “Block Noise,” we’ve got my album “Changing The Game/Making History.” Be on the lookout for all of that, [and] the documentary “Life After 3 Strikes.” Hit us up on the Myspace, feel free to leave a comment, friend request, or whatever. We’re accepting all of that as long as you’re talking about something profitable.

Meech Wells: If you ain’t a part of the forum yet, jump in there and holler at us!

Eastwood: Yeah, holler at us! We’re going one-on-one with y’all baby. We’re here for the fans man, the people who really feel what we do. We’re here for you homie! We’re on as much as we can. We’re busy, we’ve got a life too, so give a nigga a chance [to answer your questions] before you go all haywire! Other than that, all the Eastwood fans, all the Meech Wells fans, all the hip-hop fans, we love y’all homie! Stay down with us, we’re gonna hold y’all down, and that’s fo’ fucking sho’. Keep God first homie, and do you! One hunnid!

Meech Wells: One hunnid!
