dont really feel Timbo or The Neptunes, i'd probably put someone like DJ Quik in there or something .. and someone else. but yeah, they probably are the best 5

I cant agree on Neptunes. They're hot, but not hot like a fresh barbeque, but like a fresh piece of shit. They're listenable only when they work for Mystikal, cause that evil motherfucker squeezes some diversity outta them. In other situations, there's only one beat from them that doesnt look like all others - Got Yo Money by ODB. So pleeeeze dont put em in there.

RZA is the best for me. Dre gets more & more repetitive, and Soopafly is too underground. WuTang doesnt sell shit nowadays though.

offcourse he gives his best beats to himself or someone he really like, but he have done some craaazzzy tight beats for other artists like busta, mary j, and eve... i dont think they r booring...

i don't know if you guys are going by personal preferance or by ACTUAL talent...i sure hope y'all are putting up personal preferance becuase some of your lists are a lil...umm...anyway


my personal favorite producers are:

1. Dr. Dre
2. organized noise
3. dj muggs
4. earthtone III
5. timbaland


and the best actual talents in production field are:

1. dr. dre
2. dj quik
3. automator
4. organizd noise
5. timbaland


timbo was 2nd last year but he's slumping here recently and the actual quality and imagination is decreased

dre is the best becuase his mixing, melody, and persicivness

quik is second becuase of his arrangment skills
automator is 3rd cuz he's  so off the wall and turns weird shit into something beautiful

orannized is 4th becuase of their straight up nack for enovative levels of funk
