to make another classic album, snoop needs to do what he did back in da day. he should get major production by dr.dre, and hook up wit tha doggpound (d.p.g.) like they was. snoop should also try to write more of his raps, like he was doin back in da day, but wit a newer sound.

what he needs to od is make a album with about 14-16 tracks, all above 3 and a half minutes and all less than 5 minutes where he raps on at least 4 minutes of it and where theres like only 2 featurings...sumone like xzibit cuz he tight and someone like eminem or nas fuck kid rock..i hate albums where loadsa other artists areon it except the one whose album it is. i liked snoops last album but the amiunt of ppl on it! for fuck sake, but it was clever too, cuz he used his last no limit album promotin his bloods while he can concentrate on making a full snoop dogg album, where i mean less appearances on his first non no limit album. cant wait

IMO what he needs to make a classic is this:
keep it mostly, or strictly wescoast, just like doggystyle, only have limited people in the album, nate dogg, dre,  DPG, rage, RBX, maybe some MC ren/Ice Cube, just keep it at that, then have most of the production or all of it by dre, then make sure most of these artists beforehand try to get back their skills and flows like they had them around doggstyle era and dogg food, if this happens then u can be expecting a classic

WHAT I SAID WAS HE NEEDS DRE, NO DRE NO HITS.  LET ME BRAKE THAT DOWN FOR YOU WHO DONT UNDERSTAND SIMPLE ENGLISH.  WITHOUT DRE NO HITS FOR SNOOP. SOME DPG MEMBERS BUT MOSTLY JUST HIM. AND A SIMPLE TITLE.  I HERD HIS NEW ALBUM WAS GOING TO BE " THA G FILES" BUT THEN HE SWITCHED IT.  SO HOPEFULLY HE WILL SWITCH IT AGAIN.  MAYBE SOMEONE WILL TELL HIM TO.

What I wish Snoop would do for his next album to make it a pure CLASSIC:

1. Dr. Dre producing all the tracks. Maybe let Warren G or Daz do a track each. Whole album executive produced by Dre so everything sounds dope.

2. Very few guest appearances. Maybe 3 at the most. Nate Dogg, Xzibit, Kurupt.

3. Snoop got to attempt to flow as he did in the Doggystyle days.

4. ABSOLUTELY NO RAP/ROCK APPEARANCES. I think that's fuckin' GAY! Kid Rock? Fred Durst? FUCKIN' GARBAGE! At least just get a guitarist [eg. Slash] to provide a dope loop or some shit but don't feature garbage on the album.

i'm gonna let the truth escape onto this board, just a little secret...snoop is not, and i repeat not capable of making another classic.
why you ask?

when snoop came into rap, he brought something new to the game, he offered a new style of gangsta rap with heavy george clinton smaples which noone had considered doing before...basically he changed the game with dre.

now, snoop is burnt out and really has nothing new to offer, face it yall. but what he can do is continue to make a few hits each record...there is no chance of a totally produced cd by dre for snoop...anything snoop puts out anymore don't look at it as a possible classic, look at it as something new to bump cause that's all it is...

perfect example...one year and 3 days ago the last meal dropped, and you hear nothing from it anymore, no news, no nothing...it barely received any attention when it was new...when doggystyle was released, the shit was in peoples decks for years...

i know most of yall are gonna say that you still bump that cd on a regular basis, and that's cool, but the majority of the people that bought it don't...it's easy for people on a snoop flooded board to have high hopes but anywhere else peeps are just looking at it as a new cd...and after it's released it's the same story "what if snoop did this, or that?"...the same shit has been said ever since doggfather dropped, peeps were saying "if dre produced that shit, it'd be classic" and they continue to say it today

so i suggest yall do like i do and pick it up and instead of expecting a classic, expect some bumping tracks and a decent 16.99 spent, peace.
