The Doctor's Advocate" Pushed Back, Single Name, Fight? - September 14, 2006 By : Rud



Another day of news and drama on the WestCoast it would seem. Today we have news on The Game which includes a new release date for his sophomore album "The Doctor's Advocate," his lead single title as well as the news that there was an altercation between himself and Ras Kass last night at Element in Hollywood.

Firstly "The Doctor's Advocate" has been pushed back by one week to November 14th, 2006 to make room for further promotion and some finishing touches. The follow up to the hugely successful street single "One Blood (It's Okay)" is to be the album single "Let It Ride" which you can expect soon!

And finally the aforementioned news about a fight last night at Element in Hollywood where Game and Ras Kass went at it, the two camps are releasing conflicting stories however a dubcnn source stated that The Game did in fact punch Ras Kass knocking him out. As of yet there is no word from either artist officially regarding the incident.

Shocker. Altough a week aint bad at all but knowing Interscope they gonna push him back at least 2 months or more like they did with Busta, Mobb Deep, Pharrell, Obie, Banks... damn thats a long list

First off, at least it's only pushed back a week. What's another 7 days when you've been waiting this long. Second, it's good to hear that his first single will not be titled "Strip Club." Finally, who cares about two grown men fighting. If this is how they handle their problems so be it, I'm here for the music.

do u know the concept behind pushing albums back? it usually means artists or albums will be forgotten...
there's a time limit to when to drop the albums...

it's like doing homework..there's  a due date...or u get an F in class.

But when it is on Geffen it usually doesn't get pushed back for long periods of time too often. Sucks that it's getting pushed back, but it's only a week.

it probably got pushed back because of the jay-z / nas shuffling at def jam.  jay z is a huge release and game benefits from cross-promo with nas / being on nas' first single.

after such a boring year (aside from ghostface), we're getting a crazy fourth quarter.  jay-z, nas, lupe, i think ludacris, and game!
