Yeah there were only about 5-6 good songs. I can't complain though, the soundtrack was free with the movie. I just wish they would've put some songs by Kurupt, Roscoe, Bad Azz, etc on there.

it was ok.  the song "the wash" would have been tons better if it wasn't about the fucking movie.  i hated when they do that, it ruined that legend of jimmy bones track too - rapping about the characters  ::)

"Str8 West Coast" was the best song. Knoc shoulda used that as his first single instead of that horrendous single with Missy.

damn dog. knoc is indeed more lyrical on str8 west coast, but I love the knoc. that beat is just un-real as is knoc's flow on it.

I'd like to add that 'Gotta Get Dis Money' is a good track. I don't even dislike the chorus eventhough it is,well, unusual to say the least.
The beat was slamming and with lines like 'my hoes know I pimp by the color of my shoes!' it has some comedic value too. :)

Dre did not do any tracks for Bones. The soundtrack was done mostly by Battlecat and Fred Wreck. One of the better hip hop soundtracks.

I thought it was a dope ass album, and it stayed in rotation when I got it. There were only a few songs I'd skip, and even they were listenable to me.

I've always thought "The Wash" song was epic, and I was always mad that they never did a video for it. It was the continuation of Nothin but a G thang, and I think it was dope enough to be on Chronic 2001. Yeah, they did mention a few things from the movie, but not enough to kill the song at all. Snoop ripped it, and the references they made to "G thang" were nice.

The soundtrack is alright. I can't listen to it front to back, and apparently no one else can, but there are some cool tracks.

On The Blvd. - Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg
Blow My Buzz - D12
Bad Intentions - Dr. Dre featuring Knoc-Turn'al
My High - Yero
Riding High - Daks featuring R.C.
Gotta Get Dis Money - Soopafly
Str8 West Coast - Knoc-Turn'al
The Wash - Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg

these are the reasons why i like it, some cool tracks, a few 5/5 's aswell
