I mean, do any other teams get this same treatment? I think it's priceless...
Where I come from it's called "success-fans".Fans like me and my soccer team get hated a lot, for the plain reason that it's the best soccer team in the country (in history, and by a landslide at that). There are mad bandwagon fans, and also mad haters. I'm from the city where the team is from, like you. Sucks for us, but people hate us.

There goes the whole "bandwaggon" theory....PeACe

You're right...Being a great franchise does come with collecting a lot of fans. But as long as they're not bandwaggon fans who lack support when the team isn't at its hottest, then it's all good...PeACe
I love it when a team thinks they have home-court advantage, but they really don't because the Lakers are in town...How about when Kobe dunks one in a purple jersey and the whole arena gasps and buzzes about it through the next 5 plays? Wonderful shit...Last year I drove to Phoenix to watch a Lakers@Phoenix game, and I saw nothing but Laker jerseys at the Hard Rock Cafe right before the game...I mean, do any other teams get this same treatment?
