vista doesnt really support opengl, which is a one method games can use, counter strike uses them

most old games use it, newer ones will use directx and such things

there is a way to run opengl with windows aero, they just havent optimized it yet

they have only released a stable driver, so its a case of waiting for the optimized drivers to come out

I thought that too but after a couple days I couldn't go back to 1.6, I like the old Day Of Defeat much better though

If I manage to get a summer job (Which isn't exactly easy here, 'cause you pretty much have to know somebody somewhere appropriate, and I don't.), I'll upgrade my shit in the fall. The pretty much only thing I'm keeping are my DVD-drive, my hard drive, my external shit and my case - the Nexus Breeze. It's a cool case, though it is big. http://www.nexustek.nl/breeze_350_400_watt_computer_case.htm. I now got the 350 power supply but I'll get the 500 watt version with the update, which is even more silent. If I manage to land that job, that is. Otherwise I'll just spend my savings paying the rent over the summer.

You already ordered this? I suggest you should wait, cuz Intel and AMD are planning a massive discount on all processors, because of the quad core processors coming up. And its worth waiting.
