Allen Iverson is a loser. Look at how the Nuggets still won't own despite having the 2 leading scorers (before the trade). Pathetic.

Also look at how great Iggy became since Iverson left. All that nigga does is taking up shots, he might get assists but Nash is much, much better at giving a true boost to the entire team and getting the W than Iverson ever was. He can get his stats but he can't be arsed to get Ws like it ain't nothing.

He's obviously the better individual player but I wouldn't even think of building a team around his sorry ass.

Yea, that's why Iverson got to the finals and Nash NEVER will, huh? Iverson and Carmelo barely played any games together yet. When they have, they've been KILLIN...

Hell, just take a look at this box score...It's also more evidence that Iverson is way better:

Neither have championships. Even if A.I. has been to the finals. Denver is finally starting to click so it will be interesting to see if they can translate 2 superstars into a finals appearance.

Of course they wont...But I'd go as far as to say they have a better chance than Phoenix.

Denver has a better chance then Phoenix of making the finals? With the team Denver has right now? I still think they need some big men and their overall D is very weak. Maybe if they add a couple interior player to complement A.I. & Melo. Camby is good "when" he is healthy, same with Nene.

Phoenix has NO chance of making it in the playoffs. Their style of play wont allow it. Everyone knows the playoffs magnify the importance of each possession, which is why the great teams play possession by possession. Phoenix can't play that way, they're a running team with no defense, a regular season wonder, just like Dallas was under Don Nelson...Denver doesn't have a great chance either, but their style of play, though not perfected, is more fitting for playoff style of basketball...I see Denver in the finals before I see Phoenix there.

I don't see anyone beating Dallas at this point, but I would like to see how Denver would do in a 7 game series with Phoenix. And Phoenix did not have Amare last year and let the board tell it he is "washed up" so the West will be interesting. But other than maybe San Antonio I don't see a team beating Dallas 4 times in the West.

Spurs, Lakers at full strength, and maybe even the Rockets at full strength could handle Dallas...I think a team like Phoenix can fare better without a big, cuz that small-ball is at least hard to match up against. Amare is a good individual player, but he obviously doesn't make a huge difference as to how Phoenix plays...D'Antonio will NEVER win something that matters. "RUN!" is not exactly the advice to give your team when it's time for the big boys to play...

Amare does give them somewhat of a presence inside. They have NO shot blocking ability without him and no low post threat, so I guess if they wanted to go through the motions of running a half court game, he would be a option. Hell Nash made Boris Diaw a scorer in the playoffs but yeah they cannot run a half court game if the court was cut in half.

I just think they looked like a tougher match-up with Diaw as the starting center. It fit their small-ball style of play perfectly. Not saying Amare hurts them, but do you really think Phoenix has a chance in the half-court?

I watch Phoenix's game and IMO it is their shot selection and lack of half court defense that kills them. L.A. has the blueprint to beat them, but I think their offense has alot of ball movement and players cutting to a spot or to the basket. They are a jump shooting team and as hot as you are is as cold as you will be depending on jumpers and 3's. It is their decision making that kills them. You can tell they panic in crunch time. Which makes no sense when you have a point guard like Nash. Just work the clock and be patient and work to get a good shot. Not Phoenix.

At full strength, yes, they do...Lakers have this one guy, and his name is KOBE.
