my thoughts on timbaland's "shock value"
« on: September 14, 2007, 09:45:01 AM »
this album is good! i dont know why ppl on here hated on it when it came out...what were u expecting? a rap album? its more of a pop oriented album, which i knew was going to happen, since thats what timbaland been hitting the charts as of late. i could bump most of this whole album through...i liked how timbaland created the vibe of this album...something not many cats do...

homie i have to disagree with you. This album was a big disapointment Timbo could have done alot better with way better guest appearances. He only had like 3 songs that i could listen to the and rest of it was garbage for a Timbo product.

while I have to admit I've only listened to the whole thing once, I didn't feel it at all, especially for a timbo production.

give it to me was the only true banger

It's a nice pop record. I didn't expect much from it anyways, so when I heard it, I thought it was straight.

timbo the king back me up!

Lol, like sevral people said, its a pop record and too many people expected a straight rap cd.

Its one of the best cds of 07 for me, got that unique sound to it, its still in my constant car rotation.

It had a few really dope tracks on it, like "Kill Yourself". But overall it was wack...
