Damizza Interview Part 2 + New Music! - September 26, 2007 By : Eddie

Dubcnn is back with the second part of our in-depth interview with Damizza. In this feature, Damizza discusses an exciting new project development involving Kurupt, B-Real, and the Tangled Thoughts. He also recalls his experience assisting on DJ Quik’s “Trauma” album, and tells us about his excitement over the Baby Ree record company that he has developed from the ground up. Mizza also shares more of his priceless stores - this time he speaks about his encounters with Al Gore, Terry Reid, Jim Brown, Master P, and many others. By the end of the feature, Damizza will give you the key to succeeding in the rap game. Needless to say, this is a feature that you can't miss, so click on the link below to read it now.

Exclusive Interview With Damizza [Part 2] [September 2007]

We're not finished yet! Check back next week for the third and final part of this interview.

In the meantime, Damizza has dropped off some more new music with us. The new song we've got today is by Silas of Guilty - the group that Damizza has been working with closely. We dropped Guilty's self-titled single featuring Damizza last week, so check that track out here if you missed it. The new track by Silas is called "Not Me," and it features "Jedi" Jared Moore, who produced Butch Cassidy's "Swagger." This single is produced by Damizza and "Jedi" Jared Moore, and it has been getting radio play on the 805's radio station Q1047. In fact, it beat out Wyclef, Lil Wayne, and Akon yesterday on the "4 O'Clock Drop." To request this track and keep it as the champion, head over to Q1047's Website and vote for it now, or call 805-654-1526. Here are the explicit and clean versions for you to listen to!

Check out the Superleak187 page on Youtube for videos of Damizza, Guilty, "Jedi" Jared Moore, and Young De of Tangled Thoughts discussing their current projects. Expect the page to be updated regularly. Also check out Damizza, Guilty, Silas, and Young De on Myspace.

Check back next week for the third part of the interview, and stay tuned to Dubcnn for the latest on Damizza, Baby Ree, Guilty, Young De, and "Jedi" Jared Moore!

Drop some feedback on the interview and the new track!

I was surprised that Damizza actually aided Khool-Aid in her quest for airing Pocos Pero Locos!

And damn, he really is a cool producer. Down to earth, laid back and social with the singers. He's your west coast Diddy, if you know what I mean.

There's a compilation album called the 805 Kingz out that Damizza participated in. It features Monteloco, Damizza and Sly from C4 called "805 Worldwide." I'm beginning to like this song. You can check it out at the 805 Kingz MySpace page:

Damizza is dope. We all love big time producers like dre and timbaland but the funny thing is this man produced my fav R&B record of late 90's. He's a humble cat too. Much props to him.keep it moving.

Damizza seems like a cool dude.  I think its great that he has Keb Mo and other bluesmen getting down with himj.  I've got a couple Keb Mo albums and they're nice.  Some real laid back shit.  Reminds me of Robert Cray a bit.

On another note, i'd love to hear some unreleased WSCG or Ice Cube solo if there is any in the vault  ;)
