You saying is Luke, Odom, Kwame & Radmanovic staying healthy makes your team elite, it makes me laugh. One, those are in no way players who make any team elite. You were the one going around saying that Kobe needs better players around him, but now all of a sudden, these players being healthy, and they are elite? That's not being realistic.

Funny isn't it? I saw this team is a D-League team and stick to it = I have no soul, I'm pessimistic, blah blah blah. But he says they're a D-League team then changes his mind as says "we're elite when healthy" and that makes him a true fan.

We had a D-League cast when everyone was injured...Mihm was out for the whole year too, and Smush was running the point. The point is, at this current moment, I feel that our roster now could match up with pretty much anyone out there...PeACe

No, I said the Lakers had D-League level players playing major roles in the supporting cast...You're obviously a douche if you have no appreciation for Lamar and question Bynum's value...and teams trade for potential and upside (Critt, Farmar) all the damn time, idiot. :stupid:

D-League Players playing major roles in the supporting cast, but now these D-Leaguers are making the Lakers an Elite team? Interesting.

Wow so you're saying Smush Parker was the only D-Leaguer? What about Sasha? What about missed-layup Evans? What about crybaby Cook? Hell even Bynum wouldn't be the best player in the D-League.

Los Angeles Lakers from the 2006-2007 Roster that are still with the team this year:

Kwame Brown
Kobe Bryant
Andrew Bynum
Brian Cook
Maurice Evans
Jordan Farmar
Chris Mihm
Lamar Odom
Vladimir Radmanovic
Ronny Turiaf
Sasha Vujacic
Luke Walton

Subtract

McKie (10 games one year, 14 the next... LMAO)
Shammond Williams (30 games... haha)
Parker (The ONLY player who was playing a major role and is now gone)

Add

Derek Fisher
Coby Karl
Javaris Crittenton
Sun Yue

Can you really sit here and say that the D-Leaguers are gone?

Lose 3, gain 4. But 2 of the 3 lost never really did anything for the team to begin with... Where did the D-Leaguers go?

LMAO@Bynum not being the best player in D-League :grumpy:...Evans is not a D-League player, he's a role player. I'll give you Sasha and Cook, but I'd be surprised to see either of them getting major minutes this season, and Sasha stepped his game up, from what I've seen in the pre-season...Either way, most of the comments you make are pathetic, if you truly consider yourself a Laker fan...It's all good, keep your head down, though. You're the type of dude who only rides with his team when they're winning...LOL. It takes a true fan to support his team through thick and thin. Can't say that much for you...PeACe

Lakers 2006-2007 starting line-up with injury pile up:

PG Smush Parker
SG Kobe Bryant
SF Maurice Evans
PF Brian Cook
C Andrew Bynum

Out:
Lamar Odom
Luke Walton
Kwame Brown
Chris Mihm
Vladimir Radmanovic
Jordan Farmar
Ronny Turiaf
Aaron McKie

Do you get the picture yet? Obviously, one of us was following the Lakers, and one of us has no clue what the fuck he's talking about and is only here to ride nuts...It's all good, I understand...Let me show you what our line-up will look like this year:

PG Derek Fisher...Jordan Farmar/Javaris Crittenton
SG Kobe Bryant...Sasha Vujacic/Coby Karl
SF Luke Walton...Vladimir Radmanovic/Maurice Evans
PF Lamar Odom...Ronny Turiaf/Brian Cook
C Kwame Brown...Andrew Bynum/Chris Mihm

So yea...if you compare some of the key components in our team last year to the key components this year, you will clearly see that we actually have depth to work with, and that some players who were forced to start last year will be 3rd string bench players this year...PeACe

See, you use the "injuries" as a crutch. You were hopping mad that there was D-Leaguers playing key roles, as if thats how it was meant to be. If it was just due to injuries, you shouldn't have been so mad. The FO, Kobe, or yourself can't help when people get injured, so how can you talk bad about "your" team in that situation? Overall, you really meant that the players the team had were D-Leaguers... and now that we've called you out on it, you're backtracking, as usual.

Kobe was forced to play with lesser talent due to the FOs incompetence. The FO had major opportunities to acquire more all-star level talent, but was being sketch about it...So if we, let say, signed Baron Davis or traded for Carlos Boozer when we had the chance, all those injuries wouldn't have really left us as thin...Now, though, we're at full strength and there's no looking back...If we have another injury filled season like last year, then no, we wont be doing any major damage...but one can only hope that nothing like that happens two years in a row.

Granted, they didn't get the big names like they should have, but what's to say BD or Boozer would've stayed healthy? What would've happened if Boozer were to have got injured? You can't blame the FO or the team for that. It happens. You probably would've still called the team D-Leaguers... But all in all, the roster still looks the same to me with just a few minor changes. You claimed the D-Leaguers are gone, but they are STILL there. If Brown goes down again this year, who's taking his place? Bynum. Mo Evans and Cook are still there... etc. C'Mon guy. Do you really wanna ride my nuts that bad that you can't see that?

If that had been the case, then failure would have had nothing to do with a lack of effort on the FOs part, now would it? See, you're missing the whole point...Either that, or you're just being stubborn so you can keep this going on and on. Cuz I've clearly stated my case, and it makes sense 100%. You're talking about what I "probably" would've done, instead of going off of facts. If Kwame goes down this year, we have MIHM and Bynum with an extra year under his belt. Mo Evans is not bad at all. Cook is a spot up shooter who will not be forced to play major minutes this year. We've added, healed, and grew...Now, if you have a strong argument, present it...Otherwise, quit it with the babbling...PeAce

Yes let's go on facts... You called these cats D-Leaguers:

But now you're changing your tune. Cook is a good spot up shooter, Mo Evans is not bad. etc. etc. You're not consistent. Fact is, you put your foot in your mouth following whatever Kobe said and now you want to make everything seem fine...

^^LOL...I'm a Kobe fan before a Laker fan? Then you wonder why no one takes your ass seriously...Saying "I can't wait to see the Mavs win the west" is not being a realist, it's being a dirty fan...You would never understand what Laker pride is- rooting for the Clippers for all those years can kill a fan mentality. BabyG, you should be ashamed that this Clipper fan is sticking by you...:puke:
