You saying is Luke, Odom, Kwame & Radmanovic staying healthy makes your team elite, it makes me laugh. One, those are in no way players who make any team elite. You were the one going around saying that Kobe needs better players around him, but now all of a sudden, these players being healthy, and they are elite? That's not being realistic.
No, I said the Lakers had D-League level players playing major roles in the supporting cast...You're obviously a douche if you have no appreciation for Lamar and question Bynum's value...and teams trade for potential and upside (Critt, Farmar) all the damn time, idiot.

Interesting. The "D-Leaguers" are gone...Wow so you're saying Smush Parker was the only D-Leaguer? What about Sasha? What about missed-layup Evans? What about crybaby Cook? Hell even Bynum wouldn't be the best player in the D-League.
Los Angeles Lakers from the 2006-2007 Roster that are still with the team this year:Kwame Brown Kobe Bryant Andrew Bynum Brian Cook Maurice Evans Jordan Farmar Chris Mihm Lamar OdomVladimir RadmanovicRonny Turiaf Sasha VujacicLuke Walton SubtractMcKie (10 games one year, 14 the next... LMAO) Shammond Williams (30 games... haha) Parker (The ONLY player who was playing a major role and is now gone) AddDerek FisherCoby Karl Javaris Crittenton Sun YueCan you really sit here and say that the D-Leaguers are gone?Lose 3, gain 4. But 2 of the 3 lost never really did anything for the team to begin with... Where did the D-Leaguers go?
See, you use the "injuries" as a crutch. You were hopping mad that there was D-Leaguers playing key roles, as if thats how it was meant to be. If it was just due to injuries, you shouldn't have been so mad. The FO, Kobe, or yourself can't help when people get injured, so how can you talk bad about "your" team in that situation? Overall, you really meant that the players the team had were D-Leaguers... and now that we've called you out on it, you're backtracking, as usual.
Kobe was forced to play with lesser talent due to the FOs incompetence. The FO had major opportunities to acquire more all-star level talent, but was being sketch about it...So if we, let say, signed Baron Davis or traded for Carlos Boozer when we had the chance, all those injuries wouldn't have really left us as thin...Now, though, we're at full strength and there's no looking back...If we have another injury filled season like last year, then no, we wont be doing any major damage...but one can only hope that nothing like that happens two years in a row.

What would've happened if Boozer were to have got injured? You can't blame the FO or the team for that. It happens. You probably would've still called the team D-Leaguers... But all in all, the roster still looks the same to me with just a few minor changes. You claimed the D-Leaguers are gone, but they are STILL there. If Brown goes down again this year, who's taking his place? Bynum. Mo Evans and Cook are still there... etc. C'Mon guy. Do you really wanna ride my nuts that bad that you can't see that?
If that had been the case, then failure would have had nothing to do with a lack of effort on the FOs part, now would it? See, you're missing the whole point...Either that, or you're just being stubborn so you can keep this going on and on. Cuz I've clearly stated my case, and it makes sense 100%. You're talking about what I "probably" would've done, instead of going off of facts. If Kwame goes down this year, we have MIHM and Bynum with an extra year under his belt. Mo Evans is not bad at all. Cook is a spot up shooter who will not be forced to play major minutes this year. We've added, healed, and grew...Now, if you have a strong argument, present it...Otherwise, quit it with the babbling...PeAce
