Well,if I shall put my 5 cents in here.
I got all his albums, but never paid any attention to them,so I gave his catalog a spin the other night. (you remember that right?).
He ain´t a bad rapper, but the albums didn´t move me. (I didn´t like the production style= trap music style, don´t mean the album ;))
I was a little dissapointed because I hoped to be suprised and could give you a great feed back.
He has a couple of great tracks, but I had heard them on TV/Radio from before. I usually don´t like the music that plays on TV and radio,so I got to give T.I that he at least got some decent singles. Does this make sense to you?
yes i do
i can see why maybe the beats on trap muzik would bore u to a certain extent
it's more the lyrics & subject matter that i love on that album
it's all good 8)

No I meant TRAP music style, not the album. Honestly,I haven´t heard so much Atlanta rap lately.
So assume this is how Trap music sound like? I saw the Atlanta documentary on the Atlanta DVD (I told you before).
Where TI walked us trough the Atlanta music scene, about Trap,Snap and what not.
But they didn´t really play that much music.
Anyway I found the documentary more interesting than the movie, you check it out if you haven´t.
The Atlanta acts I check for either ain´t that active any more or have progressed to a style I don´t feel.
But that´s life......  :D
but really trap style is just hustling which billions of rappers rap about :-\
not sure if u know or not, but a trap is pretty much a place in the hood u can go 2 and get like everything u need illegally (drugs, cars, rims, u name it)

That I figured, again TI´s said it was Snap music with "gangster/hustler" lyrics. But I don´t know Snap music that well either other than what I hear on TV and Radio. Not that watch so much TV or listen much to radio, but when I zap trough the channels I stop up sometimes when I see what´s on.  :D So it´s more the MUSIC style  I´m asking about, not the lyrics.  :)
Some of the Atlanta artists I check for is Kool-Ace,Ghetto Mafia,Parental Advisory and Goodie Mob.
But those artists is the "older" generation of Atlanta´s Hip Hop scene.
So can´t say I reconized any obvious influence from them on TI´s music when I went trough his catalog.
Ghetto Mafia got to be closest since they got "gangster/hustler" lyrics.
I was never that much into Bounce or Crunk either but I did check for it. There´s always bad and good music in any music style.
