lost is wayy better than most shit out there....and its better than heroes aswell....heroes is a great show but its nothing new, its like 4400 reincarnated with a comic twist....

anyways i like heroes, even season 2 but lost is my show

pz

And 4400 is like a lot of comic book storylines too. As well as Lost, from all my friends that like the show tell me.

But no way is any show, except for the best episides of Sopranos, anywhere close to The Wire.

I don't understand it.. I've watched The Sopranos, The Wire and Heroes, and frankly none of them come close to Lost  ???
Least of all Heroes.. Imo THAT show really feels like it's allready being dragged on, in its second season..

P.S. What's up with the practically "worshipping" off The Wire on this site??
"I have loved you," says the LORD. "Yet you say, 'In what way have you loved us?' "Was not Esau Jacob's brother?" Says the LORD. "Yet Jacob I have loved" - Malachi 1:2

The final season of Lost - 2010

Lost is a cool science fiction. The Wire is the great American novel on screen. It's far too deep and too real to be compared to Lost. They are completely different too. The Wire is like Raging Bull and Lost is like Terminator 2. I'm sure there a plenty of people that preferred T2. They simply don't get it. Wire has it's weak spots here and there but it is a brilliant portrayal of downfall of the American city.

lost is very much less comic than heroes and 4400...

and i aint really a tv show freak, i only watch some which interest me, i aint got no time for desperate housewives and half this shit on tv, i only watch lost on tv and download episodes of heroes and prison break....prison break went wack in season 2....heroes is a great show but very predictable....lost is my favourite out of these and yes its predictable aswlell but when it started atleast it was fresh and something new....something which cannot be said about either prison break or heroes...

i aint never watched the wire so i cannot really comment on the dickriding of the show on this site until i've seen it which i doubt i'll ever have the time too....i only comment from the shit i watch and to me lost is the best of what i watch...

LOL at anyone saying any other show is even in the same breathe as Sopranos.

Sopranos is easily the best series ever,  no question.  Its more than a series, its almost unreal to think about how legendary and amazing it is.

^^^^ the Season 6 was VERY dissapointing ... there are some many mistakes made when it comes to end the scenario ... some events happened WAY too fast and for some "strange" reasons ( Butchie giving his agreement to kill Phil was the best example).. whereas there was time wasted on that Vito fagget and his family ... and of course the terrible end

Read more comics. I'm not talking about just Super Hero comics, although the Watchmen is the best mini series ever. Preacher, 100 Bullets, Midnight Nation are all fine examples of great stories in the comic book world that are nothing like Heroes.

SpIce, the Wire is simply better written, more thought out, and more serious than Sopranoes. Sopranoes low notes are just to low for it to be better than the Wire as a whole. Like said above the entire first part of season 6 with Vito was stupid. The Phil storyline was handled very poorly. Season 4 was terrible. That episode about Columbus was one of the worst episodes I've seen from any major TV drama. The Wire is never hits those lows. When it's all over it'll play out lie a great novel. Sopranos will only seem to play out that way.

heroes to me was a huge dissapointment and vastly overrated.

I do agree that some of the first part of season 6 in Sopranos was kind of sub=par.  I agree that the Vito storyline went way to far and I also agree that the ending of Phil wasnt handled the best either.  However it doesnt matter, Sopranos was flawless in season's 1-5,  the show is  easily the greatest ever.  The acting on that show was one of a kind, no show in the past or the future will ever be able to compare with this one.

I have started watching The Wire and it's dope no doubt but lets be serious people, we are talking about The Sopranos,  it's second to none.

It looks like one of those shows you have to watch from the beginning to fully understand what's going on. So I won't even waste my time watching it.

The acting in both shows are great, but Sopranos loses points in parts when it comes to dialogue and plot. Season 1 to 3 were amazing. 4 and 5 had down notes, especially 4; (The Columbus Day episode). The Wire has acting that's just as good and at times much more realistic. Wallace in season 1 was amazing for a minor character and so young.

true, you do need to watch it from the start but trust me, it is worth it. go download season 1, watch it, come back to the thread and let me know what you think.

Don't know why everybody is saying season 4 and 5 weren't good (Sopranos). For me, first 5 seasons were great but season 6 sucked.
