And Dre was G-Funk. There is a massive difference, more to do with lyrics. OTK did freak funk, Dre did gangsta funk...DIFFERENCE.

And the point I was making IS that people always throw it up for Dre, but don't recognize EI3 and ONP's contributions.

dre (before the chronic) used p-funk dating all the way back to his WCWC days
a good portion of old school rappers used p-funk

so i don't see what your talking about there organized noise used the same ideals as p-funk just like A GRIP of producers have before kast came out

Old schoolers used the music, but not the themes...They weren't freak funk, they were just using the beats. That's what I meant(sorry if I was confusing).

OTK, with ONP, were the first freak funk/rap...

WCWC used the beats, not the style...

Some artists may have used P-funk before Outkast did, but no group in hip hop has bridged all musical barriers on the level Outkast has. Stankonia is probably the most musically diverse hip hop album ive ever heard, and how the Source gave it only 4 mics is still a mystery to me.
