THE C-WALK
«

The C-Walk's been around for awhile. But, lately I've seen it become the latest dance craze. What was originally something only for the Crips has become something I've seen people do at a party or club. Tyrese did it in his video and so did 112. I wonder if this is an insult to the real Crips? It's something that's always been theirs. Now, it's out there as a dance like the Cha-Cha Slide and Macarena.

When I have people over to my apartment the Up In Smoke video is always in, and everyone always wants to rewind the Dub-C crip walk part of the show over and over.

Everyone in my schools are like obsessed with the Crip Walk...They are like..."Can you do it?"...This kid tried doing it during the talent show...It was pretty decent...I can do my own version...
Has anyone seen that new dancew were they shake and shit...Like the kid does in the Bad Boy video called "Take This Money"...That's the new shit....

I got one raggidy crip walk. I've tried to do it a couple times and I'm.....okay.
I've seen that shaking dance. They were doing it in Eve's "Who's That Girl" and G-Dep's video. I'm sorry but they look retarded. Shakin like they got seizures.

I've heard people refer to that shaking dance as the "Haarlem Shimmy". That sounds real fruity though.
