J. Flexx – Stayin' Alive

The Review

1. Intro (No Doubt) * Just an intro, shows traks that flexx wrote lyrics for dre

2. Who Been There, Who Done That? * 10/10 - A classic track also on the deathrow greatest hits album

3. Stayin' Alive * 10/10 - another banging classic, flexx rips this trak

4. Around The World (feat Danny Boy) * 9/10 - this track is soothing, slow, danny boy makes a great addition. this tracks resembles snoop dogg & kurupt trak "gangsta shit"

5. Nothing Can Come Between Us * 9/10 - fast tempo track, also a gd trak

6. Pop Twist * 10/10 - another classic on the album

7. Down Sunset * 8/10 - kinda funky but the trak is too short

8. Lady Heroin (OG) (feat Sam Sneed) * 10/10 - a well known classic. flex and sneed rip this to shreads. ther is an intro to the trak that wasnt on the 1 that leakd b4.

9. Is It Live? (feat Barnie Ruble) * 7/10 - its ok, sound lik a cowboy trak in a way (lol i cant think of any othr way to describe it), i tend to skip this trak

10. Do The Gigolo * 8/10 - this trak is gd, again funky

11. Life Goes On * 9/10 - this trak reminds me of a 2pac trak (cant remembr which 1), also a dope trak

12. Street Scholars (feat Dr.Dre) * 10/10 - another classic wit dr.dre this time. its the same as the 1 thats leakd b4, not the crappy 32kbps 1.

13. Ball While U Can * 8/10 - trak is gd, smooth again

14. Have Fun * 9/10 - this is the trak im listinin to at the moment. slow, soothing beat to it. although its too short

15. The Breaks * 7/10 - flows nice and upbeat. i tend to skip this trak

16. Lady Heroin (Remix) (feat The Lady Of Rage) * 9/10 - well known remix with tha lady, also on the gridlock'd soundtrack

Overall classic album. For those who dont have it, your missing out for sure

Quote from: Soopafly DPGC about his hands
I don't live for the man, but I do study him so I can hope my pimp hands one day become as strong as his. When i first started listening to him, my hands were only strong enough to crush a beetle.  Now that i've studied him for 15 years, my hands are strong enough to crush a dog.

I haven't heard the album... but I think you rate every track a little bit too high, especially if you rate the skippers as 7.

Pretty good review, thanks.  At least I know about the lady heroin remix is the same at the one on Gridlock'd....not sure about your number ratings though, you sure gave out alot of 10/10s.  This sounds like the next Chronic going by that review.

It looks okay, but J Flexx's beats didn't fit his cold flow. I want to see what Sneed they got to offer the people.

Something says Barney Rubble and the production group B-Rezzell did the whole Flexx bootleg material judging by the beats.
