Nas And Az Album

There was a rumor goin around before that Az and nas where goin to do a album together.are they still friends cuz i thought az would ave been on hip hop is dead

I seem to remember an AZ interview recently (probably when he dropped 'AWOL' actually) in which he said it was basically on Nas - that he knew the fans wanted it and couldn't understand why Nas hadn't gone ahead with it. Pretty much the same situation all the ex-members of NWA point to re: Dre when talk of a reunion comes up.

AWOL >>>> the games first two albums.  They wont do a album together.  We'll be lucky to get a track from those two guys.  AZ says its on Nas.  Nas says he can't get in touch with AZ.  I think they had a falling out but are just quiet about it.

Nas doesnt want AZ on an album w/ him because AZ would steal the show and steal Nas' thunder
Theory 2
AZ doesnt want ot be on another joint w. Nas because he would blow up and the avg. listener would have really never heard of him and it would be similar to Kanye introducing Lupe to the scene, etc. etc. This obviously isn't az's style.. one who lays low and doenst need/want that fame/limelight from a nationwide audience.

AZ > NAS
AZ > Game
