I seem to remember an AZ interview recently (probably when he dropped 'AWOL' actually) in which he said it was basically on Nas - that he knew the fans wanted it and couldn't understand why Nas hadn't gone ahead with it. Pretty much the same situation all the ex-members of NWA point to re: Dre when talk of a reunion comes up.

AWOL >>>> the games first two albums.  They wont do a album together.  We'll be lucky to get a track from those two guys.  AZ says its on Nas.  Nas says he can't get in touch with AZ.  I think they had a falling out but are just quiet about it.
