probably just to diss Dr. Dre... same with "Who Been There, Who Done That", which i realise is a Death Row track but was hardly a hit.

Suge Knight bought the rights for that track and released it on Death Row Greatest Hits (Dopest Westcoast Compilation). It is an Ice Cube diss towards Dr. Dre and Eazy-E.

Quote from: Soopafly DPGC about his hands
I don't live for the man, but I do study him so I can hope my pimp hands one day become as strong as his. When i first started listening to him, my hands were only strong enough to crush a beetle.  Now that i've studied him for 15 years, my hands are strong enough to crush a dog.

Notice there are also non-death row 2pac songs that appear on the compilation as well.

^They probably just wanted some 2pac tracks on there, and they didn't want to put some All Eyez On Me tracks because AOEM was still kinda new in the market. I don't know that's just what I think.

Suge owns the rights to them. Suge owns the rights to about eight Ice Cube tracks. The 2Pac stuff came I believe when 2Pac was making his jump from Interscope to Death Row. 2Pac was buying all his old masters back, and I believe Suge helped him cop a few.

or suge bought the tracks and put it on there to sell the album better with 2pac tracks on it?

it wasnt a hit, how could it be a hit when it was first released on that album?
"everybody listetning" because it was a good track, and death row fans knew who j-flexx is.
they song wasnt that big like "nothin but a g thang" or "california love".get it?
