go out and DO IT... trust me you will not be disappointed... you will actually probably never go back to a PC once you get shit going... i know people will talk shit or whatever but i am extremely happy with MAC and i have been using it for 10+ years and the experience has only gotten better with time.

At my school we were taught on MACS. So i can do all sorts of shit on a mac but then we left school and no one uses them. Fuckin waste man, the school only buy them cos they get a deal on them, Buy 20 get 1 free or some shit. Walk into an interview and they ask about your computer skills, you tell them how you can do all this shit with a mac and they look at you like you have Rabies

On the real - go ahead if you feel like it. BUT - there is the very real danger of turning into an asshole. I'm dead serious. My brother bought a Mac a couple years back and suddenly he's elitist mofo with nothing else than something with an Apple logo good enough for him.

if you dont get caught up in being a retard, they are fine. i've used a mac for about 5 or 6 years now and haven't gone back to a PC except for my boxes at work. itunes etc is good for music, and iphoto for my photos.. other than that i use it more for the UNIX build underneath than being some fruity apple hippy
